Most recent user reviewsScore 5 out of 5 Slightly off the beaten path Mike, Denver, CO, 2006-11-14 We were just a block from the strip and the Riviera. We could go the other way and chedk out the Grecian Isles or the Hilton- and pick up the monorail there. This was the best hotel experience I have ever had at a Las Vegas hotel. We arived late so there was no line to wait in to get our room. Our 5th floor room faced the street and had nice views of The Riviera and Circus Circus. The room was very clean and well maintained. It was a huge room with a balcony and the nice feature of a digital room thermostat we could use to control the room temp. There was ample closet space and a king-size bed. Since we were off the strip it was very quiet. This little botique hotel is a gem but may soon be replaced by a condo project. I highly recommend it. Score 4 out of 5 Close to Convention Center Jim, Chicago, IL, 2005-11-19 Shopping, mall or drug stores were a block or two away. The big casinos were two blocks away. All without the crowds. The Royal Resort is just a couple of long blocks from the Las Vegas Convention Center, an easy 10 minute walk. You don't have to hassle with the Strip if you don't wnat to but it is only a block off the Strip if you wnat that. The room was a little small but the frig and microwave made up for it. Rooms were fresh, Had a sofa to stretch out on at the end of the day. A nice, affordable restaurant with great breakfast specials. If your in town for a trade show this is the place for you. Quiet, not the crowds of the casino hotels, walking distance so you don't need to use conference shuttle buses or try to get a cab. It's not what most people think about when they think about a Las Vegas hotel, but if you are there on business or a trade show, everything is close, walking distance and the price was right. Score 4 out of 5 Friendly and Courteous Staff Keith, Washington, DC, 2005-09-18 The location was not far from the strip, and just down the street from the Convention Center where one could catch the monorail to get closer to the strip. The Royal Resort Las Vegas Nevada, had adequate rooms, the amenities were a bit lacking in as far as the Business Center. There was an additional charge to use the business center, a charge that most hotels that I have stayed at do not charge. Their was a charge to connect to the internet which I felt was excessive as well. |
