Most recent user reviewsScore 2 out of 5 Convenient to the Las Vegas Speedway, but that's all! Gerald, Boston, MA Convenient to the Las Vegas Speedway, adjacent casino and restaurant, near to downtown Las Vegas (Fremont Str), and close to some shopping malls. On the edge of North Las VegasIf you want to be near the Las Vegas Speedway, this is your hotel. Only a few exits away from the Speedway; it has an adjacent casino & restaurant. Bring a gas mask if you don't smoke, as these facilities feature grey-colored air and smell like an ashtray. The price is right, tho' this goes way up when the Speedway has an event. Altho' the place is not a dump & the staff are very nice, this Ramada is a very, very tired facility. Saggy beds, discolored tile and basins in the bathroom, rugs that need replacing, and more. Basically it is a very unattractive facility that needs updatig badly. Other than for Speedway events, it is a facility that you stay at ONLY if there is no place else. Score 3 out of 5 could be a little better Anonymous, 2006-10-20 First of all this is my very first visit to this hotel,so I think they should have some improvement especailly on the bathroom. Score 1 out of 5 Terrible Location LIVIA, 2006-10-08 Far from downtownThe Ramada Speedway for My friends and I Was not so good becouse the location.Far from downtown and very dificult to be find, but the room was not so bad. Score 3 out of 5 Comfortable rooms Anonymous, 2006-09-17 Close to the Speedway & Nellis AFBThe Ramada Inn Speedway had comfortable rooms that were nicely furnished and the hotel staff and shuttle driver were helpful and friendly. The Bed was huge and comfy and the shower was nice and had the expanded shower cutain with a massaging shower head. The room had a fridge, microwave and coffee pot in adition to a TV & DVD player. There was a nice added touch of a bag of microwave popcorn, tea & hot cocoa in addition to the usual standard coffee. The actual outside of the hotel and the location were not the greatest, unless of course you wanted to be near the Speedway or Nellis AFB. The returaunt was only OK, and the outside ammenities were lacking but I think for the price it was decent. I was a little dissapointed by what I had expected in regards to Las Vegas quality of a hotel...I thought it would be a little more well kept, however the rooms in and of them selves were quite nice and comfortable so if tha is all you're looking for then I would say it was a good value. Score 3 out of 5 Away from the hustle & bustle Robin, Canton/Akron, OH, 2006-03-26 We needed a hotel on the north end of town. Good location and easy to find. Score 4 out of 5 Rundown but cheap Anonymous, Riverton, WY, 2006-03-13 Very good, very cheap. breakfasts. The friendliest staff we have encountered in years, although Spanish was necessary in the bar. The rooms have seen hard use and the cleaning was sketchy, but at the price, on a race weekend, it was overall good.
