We were there for Nascar weekend. My husband dropped his favorite jacket in a parking lot and got tar all over it. The conceirge staff was more than helpful finding a dry cleaner that would pick-up and drop off the jacket in 24 hours. The staff was also helpful with directions to the race track. The hotel is also in a prime location on the strip. We found the hotel restaurants a little expensive though. Score 5 out of 5 Nice Hotel Anonymous, 2007-03-12 There is a great restaurant within walking distance. The food is very good with great atmosphere at a moderate price. This was my second trip to Las Vegas and my first time staying at the Paris. The hotel check in was very easy and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Check out was even better because they gave us late check out and you could check out on the TV in your hotel room. The Paris hotel has a great apperance from the first time your walk in the front doors. The rooms could use a little updating. House keeping could have cleaned with a little more detail but was acceptable. Hotel location is good with many things with in walking distance. Taxi and limo services very prompt. It would have been nice to use the pool but it was closed for maintaince. Overall, this is a great place to stay for the price, I would recommend to anyone. Score 5 out of 5 My review of Paris Las Vegas Anonymous, San Francisco, CA, 2007-03-11 The location is great- the pool was closed for remodeling even though they offered Ballys next doors pool. I paid $60 extra a night to upgrade for the view to the strip- which was great and it included meals on the 31st floor- for breakfast and light dinner- it was a small buffet type service. Score 5 out of 5 The room was very spacious and had great amenities. Anonymous, Newark, NJ, 2007-03-04 The hotel has good shops on the ground floor and it is convenient to the guests. The room was spacious, clean and convenient to everything. One thing that was a turn-off was the thin walls. I was merely on the phone for a few minutes and the next door neighbor complained about my conversations as being very audible next door-- the rooms have paper-thin walls. I was not even shouting on the phone nor being very noisy. I was merely conversing in my normal tone of voice. Score 5 out of 5 Exceptional Service Anonymous, Boston, MA, 2007-03-03 The buffet was the best I had during my stay, and I tried others as well as restaurantsI arrived after midnight and they had no accomodations in my purchased catagory so they upgraded me to a suite for the night. The next day they moved me to my room on one of the upper floors, what a view. The location was ideal for catching the Monorail to the Convention Center everyday. The Hotel staff was helpful and informative, I will stay there again. Score 5 out of 5 Very family friendly Larry, Baltimore, MD, 2007-03-03 All of the attractions and intertainment are within walking distance of the hotel. The Paris Las Vegas hotel exceeded our expectations. The staff was very friendly. The rooms were always clean and cleaned in a very reasonable time. The bathroom was very large and I really liked having a bathtub and separate shower in the bathroom. The hotel was located right on the strip and when we return to Las Vegas, we definitely plan on staying at the Paris again. Score 3 out of 5 Too smokey. Lynn, Milwaukee, WI, 2007-02-25 There is a very large mall to the north of the hotel as an alternative to the boutique shops of the hotels. The Paris was a pleasant hotel except for the fact that one has to walk either through or very near to the casino to get to check-in or to the hotel elevators. While I understand that this is generally the case, we did visit other hotels in which the level of smoke was more contained. The room was comfortable with nice linens and a nice bathroom. The staff was pleasant but impersonal. We wanted to sit at the pool deck only to learn that the entire facility was under renovation and unavailable. The food that we tried in two of the restaurants was passable, nothing special, and quite expensive. We did use the bus stop in the front of the hotel and appreciated that. Should I ever visit Las Vegas again, I will stay elsewhere. Score 3 out of 5 My review of Paris Las Vegas Anonymous, Long Beach, CA, 2007-02-24 Forum shops at Caesars are across the street. We had high hopes of the Paris. Unfortunately they were not fulfilled. For the price, the room was suprisingly small. In terms of dining options, every restaurant/cafe had long lines due to being understaffed. Not to mention the prices were relatively for the value. (We spent $60 on a breakfast for 2 that included an omlete, a strawberry waffle and a hot chocolate) Because we were not Diamond Members we sat in line for 30 minutes, in the same spot, as every Diamond Clubber went in front of us. We never entered the buffet. The location of the Paris is great however I wouldn't spend the $$$ to stay there again. |
