Most recent user reviewsScore 5 out of 5 Surprisingly good and close to LVCC Richard, San Francisco, CA Off the strip about 1 mile but short walk to Convention Center. Clean comfotable in J Bldg Score 4 out of 5 Not bad for the money Anonymous, 2007-03-12 There is a McDonald's next door for your fast food needs. There is a very nice mall not far down the road. The Hotel Suites in Las Vegas is not bad for the money. It is located off the strip, but not in a very good neighborhood. There were too many long time residents there, people working from out of town and basically living at the hotel. The room was nice and very clean. The bedroom was separate from the living room and kitchenette, which was nice. The bed was actually soft for a change as most hotel beds are rock hard. It was a bit noisy due to the long timers at the hotel. Overall, it was not bad. Score 2 out of 5 Ghetto Hotel Anonymous, Los Angeles, CA, 2007-02-26 The night staff was very rude. There was no ice. There is no housekeeping or towels after the maids leave. The front desk will not help. There were some scary looking people hanging around. Score 1 out of 5 My review of Hotel Suites of America Las Vegas Anonymous, 2007-02-19 The rooms were not clean, ie vacuuming, etc. The overall smell in the room was horrible, we had requested non-smoking, but it reeked like stale smoke, so much so that we had to have everything we brought into that rooom, leather jacekts, clothese, laundered or dry cleaned. The bed and sofa was very uncomfortable, you could feel the springs in both and I doubt if the vlankets or bedspread has been laundered in quite some time. I would not stay there again, even if it were free.. Score 1 out of 5 Review Nita, Seattle, WA, 2006-10-15 When I first arrived, I was surprised to see residences (lots of lower income, small children playing in the common areas, people loitering about). I asked the hotel front desk if the area was safe. She put my in the very back building(outside door), people came out of their rooms and watched me enter the room. I did not feel secure. I checked in with security guard that walked by (with a gun)and inquired if the area was safe. He said it was safer than other properities in this type of neighborhood. I went back to the office and turned in my keys and told them I was traveling alone, and did not feel safe. I had to find another hotel. Score 2 out of 5 CHeap stay for money concious Jacqueline, San Diego, CA, 2006-07-04 It's las vegas. Everything is there!!bed was very uncomfortable but had all of the necesities for cheap living. Cooking appliances ere fine and fridge was large. Score 4 out of 5 My review of Hotel Suites of America Las Vegas Anonymous, 2006-05-25 The Las Vegas Convention Center is just a jaunt from the hotel, and along with that, the monorail ride The motel is convenient in that there are casinos and other shops off the 'strip' which are just as much fun to play and eat as those on Las Vegas BlvdI enjoyed the size of the living, dining, kitchen and bedroom; however, the bathroom had make-up smudges on the counter and light switch cover. The hotel staff acted very non-chalant about servicing me, I guess most of the people who stay there aren't tourists, but rather more long-term guests. I came and went as I pleased, which for me was nice, as my brother & I did a lot of sight-seeing during my stay. The hotel is convenient if one doesn't mind being a little ways off the 'strip'; one can always take the monorail and save the walking distance. Score 1 out of 5 Review Anonymous, 2006-05-07 This hotel is loacted about 1 mile off the Strip in Las Vegas. There is a McDonald's next door and a monorail station a short walk away. The ground were not kept up. The spa was drained and I has told that they were not going to fill it anymore. DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL/CONDO COMPLEX/WHATEVER!! You will be very disappointed! Score 1 out of 5 Very Disappointed Mark, Manchester, NH, 2006-04-29 The room smelled dirty. The phone was broken. It was old and hasn't had any upkeep for a very long time. There was no hair dryer or ironing board in the room. There was no bedspread on the bed. TV remote didn't have batteries in it, so I don't know if it worked. It was a motel where people could rent by the week (and live in as an efficiency apartment). It appeared that the people I saw sitting on the sidewalk, next to the building we were staying in, had been evicted and had all their possessions in about 10 garbage bags sitting next to them on the sidewalk. It wasn't pretty. The location was bad enough that we were afraid to go out to our car alone. One good thing I can say, is the sheets were crisp and clean and so were the bathroom towels. If they hadn't been we would have lost our money and had to stay somewhere else. There were no refunds at this motel and it was Friday in Las Vegas. We probably couldn't have found another room in the area. Score 2 out of 5 Review Arturo, Los Angeles, CA, 2006-03-27 No review provided by user |
