Most recent user reviewsScore 4 out of 5 first trip to sin city robert, Gillette, WY everything is nearby, shopping, food ect, the duce picks up and drops off at harrah's and if you go to rio's, their shuttle takes you for free.this was our first stay at Harrah's or even to Vegas. we got the room of our dreams the last 2 days we were there, everyone was great, the only thing I would ask Hurrahs to do in the future, is to replace the mattress in the suites, they are at least 20 yrs old!!! and maybe new larger pillows??? what's up with the baby size pillows??? just a tip for first timers, take the Duce, it will save you a lot of money!!!!!!! I would stay at Harrah's again. we loved it very much. the slots are tight, but if you go downtown, you have looser slots. we would NOT eat anywhere else in Vegas other than the buffet at Harrah's. Oh and by the way, the one lady at the information desk in front of the "manger on duty" she is not a nice person! Score 4 out of 5 Great Location, Piano Bar was GREAT!! Jeanna, Grand Rapids, MI Just be prepared for a little walking...It was a very positive impression for me. This was my very first visit to Vegas and it could have been overwhelming, but it wasn't. Everything went smooth as far as check in but our room had a horrible view and we wanted to change rooms but were unable to. We were happy to see all the different bars and restaurants especially the Dueling Piano Bar. The Staff was very friendly. I was disappointed not having a coffee maker in our hotel room. When I phoned housekeeping all I was told is that out room was not selected for a coffee maker. Every morning I spent $8 for 2 coffee. Score 5 out of 5 Great Staff Anonymous, 2007-03-07 Many bars right out the front door of hotel. The staff at harahh's is excellent. Friendly and very happy to help or please. For what the hotel lacks the enthusiastic staff makes up for. The rooms are simple but spotless. One of the larger bathrooms of any hotel I have stayed in and the beds are very comfy. Placed right in the middle of the strip you can get to most things quickly and a monorail is right at the hotel for you. Would be happy to refer this hotel to anyone. Score 5 out of 5 Great location Anonymous, San Francisco, CA, 2007-03-03 Right outside of this hotel is a fast food restaurant (3 in 1)which serves NY style pizza,Chinese food and mexican food. If you like cheap drinks, real close by is an Irish Pub that has a 24hr Happy Hour. This place was very popular. We were very impressed with the staff's friendliness and efficiency. The room was large and very clean. Beds were comfortable. This hotel is almost across from Cesar's Palace which is an excellent location. There are so many restaurant close by for different budgets. We will definitely return and recommend this hotel to our friends. Score 5 out of 5 Comfort and Fun All Together Larry, Durham/Raleigh, NC, 2007-03-02 The outside waterfall show at the Bellagio is a close walk to your south with Treasure Island's outside Pirate Show close to the North. The kids will love these plus a visit to close by Ceasar's Palace with their shopping and inside fish aquariam.Located in the middle of the Vegas Strip, Harrah's provides you with comfort and entertainment that exceeds many others. They also provide shuttle service to many other locations in Vegas with little to no cost for their patrons. The rooms are nice with quick access meaning plenty of elevators without long lines. Their food selections at the buffet are great with some of your fast food favorites close outside their front door. Score 4 out of 5 good location Amy, Portland, OR, 2007-02-19 use the shuttle and monorail services whenever you can....however the monorail closes at 3:00am...kind of weird for Vegas! So be prepared to take a taxi after 3:00 am if you are far from your hotel.Harrah's was a great location for shopping as it is across the street from Caesar's Palace Forum Shops. It is right on the strip. The front desk staff were great and the dining was very basic. Harrah's is definitely not the place to go if you really want high-end services, but great for middle-of-the-road prices. There is a Starbucks in the lobby, the pool looked very nice, and there is a great dualing piano bar downstairs right off the strip....very entertaining. The rooms were clean, good size and the bathroom had a large vanity, mirror which was nice for two people getting ready. Score 5 out of 5 very friendly service Anonymous, 2007-02-19 Middle of stripBefore I checked out of the hotel I needed a large amount of ice for a ice cooler for baby milk. I asked the one of the maids for a ice bin and to help me out she gave me a large waste basket so I could get the ice more quickly. It was a great help.
