Most recent user reviewsScore 4 out of 5 Frontier Hotel / Casino Jason, Kalamazoo, MI you are at the North end of the strip, convient to several hotels, shopping, dining. In all my numerous visits to Las Vegas this was my first stay at this hotel. While it was not my first choice, price, location and the late booking on my bart were big factors. This hotel will soon be demolished for another fancy hotel / casino, and it shows. They have basically stopped putting money into it. It could be a nice place, it just needs some serious TLC. After seeing the standard room I decided to pay the upgrade to a suite, which is very reasonable. After doing this I was much happier. If you are going to vegas, and this is the last place to stay I would reccomend it. If it is not the last place, definitly choose to upgrade to the atrium, in the end you will be much happier. Its location is great, you are steps from the fashion show mall, a block from treasure island and across the street from Wynn. All in all not a bad trip. I probably would not stay again unless I was under the same circumstances. New hotel construction on all sides of this hotel promise its date with lots of dynamite are in the near future. Skip this place unless your have no other choice. It is in a prime location for shopping at the mall and staying for the convention center, between the Wynn and new Trump property, but that is the only good thing about this relic. Score 2 out of 5 Get what you pay for Anonymous, 2007-03-08 The Fasion Show Mall is right across the street. It is a very nice mall. There is also a few resturants as well that were very good. The Wynn Hotel is also Right across the street. It was ok. There were just a few things that they need some improvements on. The first was when checking in our keyes would not work. The security guard came to help us but instead of just going and issuing us new keyes he messed with the keyes and the door for a good half hour. But not too big of a deal. The one that was irritating was the fact that our toilet cloged all the time. we had to call maintence to come fix it and then it just kept happening so we were unable to use our own toilet in the room. we ended up just going down and using the one in the lobby. The hotel smelled of stale cigarette smoke all the time. Maybe some febreeze or something. But we just stuck it out and didnt bother compaining. Score 4 out of 5 My review of Frontier Hotel and Casino Nancy, Indianapolis, IN, 2007-02-28 Check in line was very long and there was only one person checking in guests. We had to wait nearly a full hour to check in. Otherwise we liked the hotel, location, price. The buffet was just mediocre.
