Excalibur's castle exterior promises fun and adventure - which is exactly what you'll find inside one of Las Vegas's most recognizable landmarks. Located in the heart of the famed Las Vegas Strip, Excalibur offers exceptional value and a range of dining and entertainment options in a setting that's fun, not fancy.
Excalibur offers three floors of excitement. The property's main level is home to one of the friendliest, most exciting casinos on the Strip. Downstairs, visitors of all ages will find fun along the carnival midway. Excalibur's Castle Walk, a promenade above the casino, features a variety of shops and street vendors that recreate the ambiance of a Medieval bazaar. Scattered throughout the property are dining and entertainment venues that emphasize quality, value and friendliness. Amenities: The hotel's outdoor spaces include two huge pools, a man-made mountain, dramatic waterfalls and two thrilling water slides. PLEASE BE AWARE the pool area will be closed over the winter for extensive redevelopment. The new and improved pool complex will expand on the two existing and landscaped pools to feature additional spa areas, relaxing & reflecting pools, fire pits and other amenities. During the time of this improvement - from November 5, 2006, through April 2007 - guests will use the pool at the Luxor and will only have to show an Excalibur room key for access. The 13,000-square-foot Royal Treatment Spa and Fitness Center offers massages, facials, a fitness center and separate pools and saunas for men and women. The bright, modern facility neighbors Excalibur's pool area. Castle Walk is home to restaurants, stores and a food court with familiar favorites like Pizza Hut, McDonald's, Quizno's, Cold Stone Creamery, Starbuck's and Krispy Kreme Doughnuts (open 24 hours!). Excalibur's 100,000-square-foot casino is famous as a fun and friendly place to play. It's full of hot slot games as well as video poker, blackjack, craps, roulette, baccarat, pai gow and keno. Excalibur's all-new poker room places the wildly popular game into the center of the casino floor and a 150-seat sports book features a television at each seat. Casino players earn comps, cash back and invitations to special events through the Excalibur player's club. An elevated tram connects the hotel with neighboring sister hotels, Mandalay Bay and Luxor.
Most recent user reviewsScore 1 out of 5 Very noisy working area due to cnstruction ANGELICA, Miami, FL, 2007-03-14 They placed me and my guests in a very noisy working area. We were unable to sleep after 06:30 AM because the noise of construction was terrible. I came to rest I was not expecting to be awake at the same time I work. They accomodate us, temporarily, after 09:30 AM to another room with the promise they will change us later. That never happened. I come tired, upset and very unhappy for what I paid. This is a nightmare. Score 4 out of 5 Cleanliness Ryan, San Antonio, TX, 2007-03-14 The distance to much of the attractions of the city is quite a walk, unless you are prepared to pay for a taxi cab.The overall hotel and casino was very clean and kept up with. That will make my decision easier when deciding my next trip to Las Vegas. Score 5 out of 5 Review Anonymous, 2007-03-14 Great buffet next door. Many shops to choose from, some high end and some normal.Score 5 out of 5 Review linda, Newport News, VA, 2007-03-14 No review provided by user Score 4 out of 5 Reasonable Value & Good Location Jeffrey, Newark, NJ, 2007-03-13 Spend your time walking The Strip. Besides all the interesting casinos, the exercise and people-watching is great. The Excalibur is a reasonable value and and has a good location on The Strip. The room rate was attractive and the facility itself provided the necessary amenities. Due to construction, no pool was available on-site. The quality and preparation of the food at the buffet were poor. The hotel location, however, provided easy access to more interesting sites in addition to the freeway. A stay at the Excalibur is good for a short stay in Las Vegas or just as a place to sleep. Score 5 out of 5 Everything in one place Daniel, San Francisco, CA, 2007-03-13 Everything one would ever need, inside. On our recent stay, we had a great time at this All in one kingdom i was worried at first that a 20 year old hotel would be somewhat run down, but NO this is a great hotel, just ask for a room on the upper floors if you want any kind on view. i will return on my next visit. Score 5 out of 5 Great treat for the whole family Anonymous, 2007-03-13 The hotel is in the middle of several fun places. The hotels on either side have a lot of shopping and food choices. The Excalibur probably is one of the best hotels that I have stayed in during my 20 years of going to Las Vegas. The rooms are always clean, the food is great, I feel safe there and confident that the security is under control. Our winnings always bring us back, and we will keep coming back. Last September, we stayed here also, and was exceptional. The staff were friendly and helpful. I would definately stay here again Score 5 out of 5 Solid value Anonymous, 2007-03-11 Solid value on the south end of the strip. If you're looking for a high end, high priced, perfectly appointed, glitzy, trendy offering...look elswhere. If you're looking for a great location, with all the basic strip amenities, (casino, resort pool, spa, dining, shows at or nearby...) at a fair price, Excalibur is a great option. We have stayed here numerous times, yes it has some wear, an issue now and then but it is hard to find a safe, clean, full service hotel/casino for this price, and with these amenities. |
