I stayed here with a group of people so I got to see 3 rooms. They all have a kitchenette, and a seperate sitting area. The furniture and TV was old but worked okay. The pool and hot tub were clean. The staff was nice. There was plenty of parking right near your room. The premises were advertised on site as furnished lodgings for daily and weekly use. A fridge and range that appeared to be 3rd-hand apartment left overs, was combined with a beat up, old sofa and fake pine funiture that was also in various states of disrepair. A tiny bathroom closet was part of the cramped bedroom. This was definitely no suite. This, however, I could have tolerated. The illicit activity taking place outside the room could not be tolerated. I defintely did not feel safe in this location. I could not stay 2 hours there. I made the office aware of the activity going on -- security should have already been aware of this. I checked out immediately. The breakfast buffet is $6.45 monday thru saturday before 10:30 am, and most things were good and fresh. Also, the coffee shop and italian restaurant are both good price performers. And the sports book takes $5 bets. The Emerald Suites on South Las Vegas Blvd. is basically a large apartment complex with daily housekeeping service. The room was perfectly adequate and a great value for the low price. It had a full kitchen and a separate bedroom with a door, basically a small 1-br apartment of approximately 400 square feet. * There are no elevators. Our room was on the third floor and we had a lot of luggage to carry up stairs. * There is no bellhop service that I was aware of. As I said, it is basically an apartment and everything is do-it-yourself. * THe rooms are fairly small and we did not really have enough space for all of our luggage. Thus we kept our luggage on the coffee table, dining table, etc. That said, it was very clean and comfortable, and the kitchen was useful. Score 5 out of 5 Excellent for the money Anonymous, 2006-09-24 The stores around here were much cheaperI was very satisfied, the only down fall was it was a ways to the strip; but we still saved more money and took taxis at night. |
