Most recent user reviewsScore 4 out of 5 Good Value Susan, Minneapolis, MN, 2007-03-09 Since the hotel is located right on Fremont Street, there are numerous options for smaller shows and tons of gambling within 4 blocks. The room that we stayed in at Binions was clean, but dated. The bathroom was small but for the money we were satisfied. It was located right down-town Vegas and very centralized. The maid service was prompt when called for additional towels, etc. There is a very nice restraunt located on the premises as well as another restraunt which served great breakfasts, lunches and dinners. We enjoyed our overall stay and would consider staying there again. Score 4 out of 5 clean but a bit too close to Fremont Experience Greg, 2007-03-09 It was not a very big room yet it was nice and clean - old I think - I like that. We were lucky to get a room in town due to a Nascar convention or something. The only thing was...well the Freemont Experience was just out side the sealed window. Thankfully, they turned off the noise from the street action about 9 PM. Over all I'd say it is a very nice place. In the morning I scowered the area for a good breakfast deal and found the best one right down stairs in my hotel. Score 5 out of 5 Quaint rooms, Friendly smiles! Eleanor, Louisville, KY, 2007-03-09 You are right in the middle of the Freemont ExperienceBinnions was a great place to stay. Right in the middle of Freemont Street. Friendly staff helped us to our room and made sure that we were able to find our way around to hotel. The room was quite quaint with an antique flare and spotlessly clean. We were very satisfied with our stay there. . Score 3 out of 5 Review Mark, 2007-03-06 No review provided by user Score 4 out of 5 Review Jeffrey, 2007-02-26 There are many casinos within walking distance with additional gaming and entertainment facilities. Fremont Street has a small town atmoshpere with people and families taking in the sights and sounds of downtown Vegas.Overall I was pleased with my visit to Binions; I enjoyed my visit-gaming facilities, coffee shop, friendly security staff (they gave me directions and suggestions for finding my way around Las Vegas), Fremont experience, etc. Score 1 out of 5 hotel Ron, Fresno, CA, 2007-02-25 cross street from excellant hotelsI have stayed on fremont street several times, I was unaware this hotel very out dated, carpets were stained, elevator without license, beds had the springs coming through, we asked for assistance and were told to put blankets on top, overall I was embarrassed as this was a surprise for my sister's birthday. Window latches broke, overall very disappointed and never would I reccommend binnons to further people. Score 3 out of 5 Disappointment Anonymous, Los Angeles, CA, 2007-02-25 For lovers of downtown Las Vegas, I suppose this hotel will do.We were placed in the old section of this venerable downtown location, and it looked the part. Lights didn't work and the walls were paper thin. Next time I hope to get the tower and, presumably, better room accommodations. And, oh yes, no room service. Score 4 out of 5 a place to shower shave and sleep charles, San Francisco, CA, 2007-02-24 I was there for two nights and no maid service was provided even though I left a tip for the maid. My light blew out over my bed and I had to deal with that. There were cigarette burns on the furniture. Could have used another blanket, but that's my fault as I didn't ask for one. All in all it was just a place to change clothes and shwer between trips to the casino downstairs. Keep the prices cheap and I will return. Score 2 out of 5 Mouse Traps Anonymous, 2007-02-21 I did not see any mice but I stepped on a sticky cardboard rectangle that was palced along the baseboard under the window. It was nearly impossible to remove from my bare foot and left a gummy residue behind. Score 5 out of 5 Great hotel for the cost Anonymous, 2007-02-20 The Fremont St. experience is right outside and Jillians is less than two blocks away.Binions Horseshoe is an older hotel along the Fremont Strip in Downtown, but it is very comfortable. Although it is a barebones type of hotel, it was well maintained, clean and peaceful. The Fremont St. experience was rather romantic and the uncluttered casino was a welcome site. |
