Most recent user reviewsScore 2 out of 5 Review pam, New York, NY better location if you have a car to get yourself to the strip and back.Although some of the staff was very nice friendly and helpful, others on the staff were down right rude. Access to the strip is a once an hour shuttle bus or a $9 cab ride if you don't have a car. On the positive side the room was large, the bed comfortable. Score 4 out of 5 My review of Best Western Mardi Gras Inn elizabeth, 2007-02-19 The pool area looks like a nice place to spend an hour or twoThe reception and resteraunt staff were very friendly and accomodating. The room was clean and spacious for the money. The bed was not very comfortable and I could hear every step that the occupants above me made.I left my cell phone charger in the room and was not assisted in finding it. House keeping asked me to call back 3 times and on the final callback I was told that no one had turned it in. In short, just don't leave anything behind accidentally. Score 5 out of 5 Very spacious room Gregory, Buffalo, NY, 2006-11-19 The Best Western Mardi Gras Hotel was a very good hotel for the price. The room was quite large and was more of a suite than a room. There was ample space and a kitchen area in addition to the bathroom and vanity area. The two queen size beds each had ample room around them, almost as if they were in separate rooms. We were very pleased with the accomadation. It was a great hotel for us since we had a car and were driving everywhere we went. There was ample free parking and convenient access to the room from the parking lots. It is a little distance from the hotel to the strip, probably farther than most people would like to walk. There is a shuttle, but we did not use it. Score 2 out of 5 Dissatisfied in Las Vegas Anonymous, 2006-09-30 Thought the hotel rooms were clean and comfortable, but the front desk and bar staff was not only rude to me, but I saw them be EXTREMELY rude to other people staying there. The hotel appears to be falling apart on the outside, the whole stucture was crooked. And their casino was a joke. Score 5 out of 5 Review Richard, 2006-09-30 No review provided by user Score 3 out of 5 My review of Best Western Mardi Gras Inn Anonymous, 2006-08-27 My greatest concern was my safety & security as the windows of the room could easily be opened from the outside. Just an average hotel at an average price. Score 4 out of 5 great bang for your buck! jin, Los Angeles, CA, 2006-08-03 Though the hotel is a bit far from the strip, they have a free shuttle service that runs every hour to bally's. The room is separated by a mardi-gras type wall so there is more privacy. a small kitchen with a cofee maker, bar stools, and a fridge is provided. It's very comfortable, very family-friendly and nice for people who want to bring home food. I didn't check out the casino or restaurant downstairs but it seemed pretty busy. There are no elevators so if you have a physical disability, make sure you request a room on the first floor. Score 5 out of 5 Nothing fancy, but clean Steve, 2006-07-04 Located close to the south end of the strip. Close to the Wynn hotel. We had a large two bed room with a sink and frig. Parking right outside the room, the room was clean and location just two or three blocks off the strip (close to the Wynn hotel). Glad we stayed for the night. As said, nothing fancy (pool was small), but the room was clean and quiet. Score 2 out of 5 Poor for the money Anonymous, 2006-06-23 To stay here, you need a car or use the hotel shuttle. The shuttle is not very user friendly however. This hotel had several problems from the beginning. The wireless Internet. Only certain rooms had it! It took them 3 room changes to find a room that had marginal connection. Score 1 out of 5 Not Mark, Austin, TX, 2006-05-17 Hello we moved out after the first night. We know we lost money but that was a thoroughly unsatisfactory hotel. Also there is no service called Las Vegas Shuttle, As far as we are concerned we were ripped off and we will tell everybody we know what we encountered. Not Happy |
