Score 3 out of 5 It is an ok place Anonymous, 2006-12-09 The hardrock is not so far away, along with what is called the fruit loop which is where most of the same sex clubs are, there is some development in the area and new restaurants are opening. The setup of the room was nice, access to pools ran almost to the end of each building which was great, but the hotel had very poor water pressure, there was not a lot of lighting on the walkways. There are climate control units in each room which made the room more comforable, but there are no directions located anywhere in the room to use the systems which can be confusing for anyone who has not used them before. There was paper in the rooms but nothing to write on them with, there was no soap in the bathrooms, the refrigerators were very old and didn't work that great, and there are no exaust fans in the bathroom. I wouldn't really consider it a great value at the full price they were asking, but for someone who is staying in the area with kids i think this would be a good place. Score 4 out of 5 OK for business Anonymous, 2006-10-23 15 minute walk to the strip where everything is available. A good value and a less hectic setting. The property is in transition. Room was just fine. Location was reasonably off the strip. Dining was entirely inadequate. Staff provided fine service. Pool was not heated. Parking was fine. I would return for business but would choose a different place for personal trip. Score 4 out of 5 Nice off strip convention hotel Anonymous, 2006-10-22 Small shopping mall close buy Durg store coffe shop fast foodGenerally well kept and comfortable Didn't know had no hot tub with pool Only negative was shower water supply was weak coming out Score 4 out of 5 Review Anonymous, 2006-10-01 No review provided by user Score 5 out of 5 quiet place near the strip Anonymous, 2006-09-30 Close to Hard Rock Cafe Hotel and CasinoNice place, wish we could have stayed a little longer. Score 1 out of 5 Not What I expected Anonymous, San Diego, CA, 2006-09-24 The check in was not very smooth. It was the beginning of a weekend and the clerk kept becoming distracted with other people and phone calls that came in. I think she was really trying, but she made the comment that there were over 100 people checking in. This made me wonder why the front desk only had one person working it. We had the "do not disturb" sign on the door on Saturday, but I saw a maid peeking in a window through the blinds to see if we were in the room. The pool was so ice cold, no one could have gone into it. The main jacuzzi was filthy, so that one would not even want to go into it. The staff in the restaurant were either not available or incompetent. One morning we stood waiting to get seated for at least 5 or more minutes while we could here the staff in the kitchen just chatting amongst themselves. Score 5 out of 5 makes you feel a little like home Anonymous, South Bend, IN, 2006-09-18 hotel is about 5 long blocks from the strip it is better to drive up and park in hotel parking, all hotels on the strip offer free parking.stayed in the crowne loft suite it was very comfortable once you took the bed pad off that was plastic coated. The extra sleeper sofa came in handy also. Nice for extended stays. Jet tub was in an odd place (on landing for stairs) Overall good experience |
