Quite Hotel

Lehman Caves, Historic Downtown Ely, Mr.G's Italian Resturant and Maggie's Martini Lounge (great live music on Fri and Say night)

This hotel is off of the main drag of Ely where there are a few other hotels, and I found it to be quite and peaceful. Had a great time. Rooms were very clean and comfortable. The staff was very friendly and gave my friends and I great site seeing tips. Like the Lehman caves which are about an hour drive from Ely. Great Day trip.

MacDonald's has an excellent ambience---Really. Staff was friendly and The Outside Decorations, an number of bronze statuary was outstanding.

Smokers accumulated outside our room. Not Good. The reception area was very smoke filled.

Not what was expected

The Ramada Inn in Ely, NV was not as expected. The hotel room was across the street from the hotel/casino. You had to get back into your car to go to the casino or to eat. The room had a musky smell to it, like it hadn't been used in a while. We ended up going to Club Nevada down the street to gamble. It was larger and if we had to get back in the car we just drove downtown.
