There is good dining on Gabaldon Street north of the hotel.

The management was very friendly and helpful. The rooms were well kept and clean. The buffet breakfast was nice but no frills. If your looking for a great priced room in Santa Fe this is your ticket. It is very close to State government and the Plaza. If your looking for a destination resort this is not a good choice. These rooms are simple and it's a good place to spend the night. Good eating places are near by and so is good shopping (about .2 of a mile), so it is walkable. Rooms were cleaned promptly each day and the overall experience was pleasant. I would stay there again. It was a good value.

If you are tired of eating out, there is a Whole Foods Market next door to the hotel.

The Sage Brush Inn is on Cerillos Street which is the main street that goes to the plaza.

There is a park across the street behind the hotel and a new one coming in 2007 across the street in the front.

Our experience at this hotel was very comfortable and relaxing. There was nothing to worry about the entire time and checking in and out was very easy.

Sage Inn - Can't beat it for the money

The plaza (where everything is happening) is a long walk (30 minutes) or short drive away. Depending on weather conditions, you can do either. Great restaurants and shops, lots of local flavor and teeming with people.

Very nice staff, great continental breakfast, very clean room, great location, great price. You'd have to pay a whole lot more to get a nicer place.

The Sage Inn was very nicely decorated with a Southwest influence. They even had extra throw pillows on the bed. Our mattress was good and firm and the room was very clean. I also enjoyed the convenience of in-room coffee. the room was good-sized with a separate vanity area off the bathroom. The desk staff was very courteous and most helpful with dining suggestions, etc. There are also two computers for guest use in the lobby. The hotel is within walking distance of the historical district. My husband and I thought it was a good value for the money and we would stay there again.

The Santa Fe Plaza, Palace of the Governors, Georgia O'Keefe Museum, and the Canyon Road gallery area, and many more attractions are all within a mile drive of this hotel.

The Santa Fe Sage Inn was a great place to stay for a week while attending a professional workshop in town. It is located very close to great restaurants, the famous downtown plaza, and many of the areas art galleries and museums. The single queen room was small but had a comfortable mattress and easy chair, plenty of drawer space, work desk with wireless internet, and a very clean bathroom. Traveling a lot for business, I found this hotel to be a great value.

Nice basic hotel, clean. Staff were friendly and helpful. There was no hot water for about one hour one morning when hotel was full but staff were responsive and sent maintenence man right away. Good location for doing Santa Fe.

There is Whole Foods Store in the same block with great pick-up food options.

I had stayed at this location a few years ago when it was under another name. My earlier experience was dismal. The Sage Inn has made 180 degree turnaround and is a most pleasant facility. The rooms are the standard 2 bed, table TV layouy. It is a very comfortable and well-maintained operation within walking distance of the downtown Plaza. AND my off-season rates were a terrific bargain.

The Asian restaurant about a block down the street on the lesft was excellent.

I really enjoyed staying here it was close to the sights and just a short walking distance to the Plaza. EXcellent
