Most recent user reviewsScore 4 out of 5 Art Fest Philip, Colorado Springs, CO, 2007-02-25 Loas Mayos on Water Street was fabulous. Food, wait staff and the flamengo guitarist were wonderful. The St. Francis is an ideal location to see and tour Santa Fe on foot. We did the Canyon Road Art Fest mostly on foot and loved it. Friendly staff and very helpful concierge. Will definitly stay there again. Score 4 out of 5 Great Ambiance Anonymous, 2006-09-15 The St. Francis is located just a block or two from the Plaza. Great location. The atmosphere is very relaxed with an excellent front porch where cocktails are served, the afternoon tea, and outdoor patio dining. We had a great time and would recommend it; however, the room was small, but comfortable. If you plan to spend much time in your room, this hotel is probably not for you. Score 5 out of 5 perfect for exploring santa fe plaza on foot Jane, Springfield, IL, 2006-08-30 About a zillion different restaurants and galleries within 2-3 blocksLots to see and do within short walking distance. An excellent walking tour started from the hotel lobby every morning and took us to most important santa fe landmarks during its 2 hour span. Bed was great and cushy, room was quite small. Score 4 out of 5 Nice old hotel R Ernest, Washington, DC, 2005-06-12 The St Francis has great atmosphere. There is a nice front veranda for sitting watching the Santa Fe visitors go by. THe lobby is large and spacious and there are wide staircases up to the top (third floor). Each floor has a big comfortable foyer where you can sit and hang out. The staff was great, helping out with restaurant reservations, parking issues, and being honest about the fact that the hotel Internet did not work for two or the four days I was there. The room I had was very small with no desk space, no bathroom counter. The sink was in the room not in the bathroom (and not next to it). The room had a TV cabinet that was so big I could hardly walk around it, but it wasn't a very usable cabinet for storage below the TV. THe room did have cool little casement windows, great white curtains and a really comfortable bed. All in all a romantic beautiful place, but not that 'perfect' in terms of modern ameneties. |
