Designed in the territorial style so popular at the turn of the century, most of Camas guest rooms feature viga ceilings, hardwood floors & private baths tiled in a cheerful Mexican motif. All have air-conditioning, telephones and cable television. Late check in for this property will be taken care of at Fort Marcy Hotel Suites, 320 Artist Road, Santa Fe, NM. 87501.
Most recent user reviewsScore 3 out of 5 Fine for Independent Travelers Anonymous, San Francisco, CA, 2006-08-09 Camas de Santa Fe is in an excellent location just a few blocks off the Plaza. You get a very clean and fairly comfortable room -- and that's it. It's supposed to be a Bed & Breakfast, but for your breakfast you are referred to "our sister property," Dancing Ground of the Sun; that's less than half a block away, but the breakfast is only passable, and indifferently offered. "Indifferent" is the word for staff and service at Camas de Santa Fe, too. Often there is nobody on-site in the office; the door will be locked and you'll be referred to Dancing Ground if you need to see a real person. One unexpected benefit is the computer with internet access in the lobby. If you want good (but expensive) food and a wonderful atmosphere, you can always go across the street to the restaurant at La Posada. I'd recommend Camas de Santa Fe to independent travelers who don't require much attention. Score 1 out of 5 Review Judy, Pensacola, FL, 2006-08-04 No review provided by user |
