The staff was helpful and courteous. When we, my daughter and I requested extra shampoo, it was no problem at all. The night clerk even came rushing over to shoo a bug out for us that had followed us in. The entire experience was very nice and relaxing. The rooms are decorated to give you a real feel of the southwest and they have a nice restaurant on site with a very affordable menu. Additionally, they gave us directions to other great eateries where we could enjoy local cuisine. They also gave us direction to a nice spot along the Rio Grande where we could sit in a park and soak up the sun. When we return, we will stay here again. The owners and staff were helpful, attentive and very knowledgeable of the area. Everything was fine in the room except I let myself in, very late, and didn't investigate how to get the heat on, so was not warm enough most of the night. In the morning I found how to turn it on, did so and the room, large as it was, was warmed to a comfortable level in a short period. I gave up getting online via my wireless hookup when in a few mnutes' time, I got three virus attack notices before I'd completed the sign-up protocol. However, the morning manager was very willing to help me get directions and print them from the computer in the lobby. I would like to recommend that the quality of food be improved, i.e, less pre-packaged, processed, microwaved convenience-type food. |
