Great bargain, simple, clean

Dining was a short drive. Fuel/convenience store was next door.

The Motel 6 Gallup, NM, was a great value for us because all we needed was a place to sleep on a long car journey wherein we arrived later in the evening and were gone by 6 a.m. We did not need frills although there was a coffee machine in the room. There was no continental breakfast, but for $35.00, we really didn't expect one. The motel was clean, bed comfortable, location great--just off I40 in a quiet end of town. A gas station with convenience store was next door which took care of our car fueling as well as coffee needs to start a 15 hour day of driving. It was all we needed. (An outdoor pool is available during summer but not winter.) All in all, great for us and our needs for this particular trip.

Comfortable Night's Stay

There were several truck stop/re-fueling stations nearby which made it very convenient for both re-fueling and dining.

I had stayed at a Motel 6 the previous night in Tulsa Ok, and was much more impressed with the one in Gallup, NM. The registration staff was very helpful and very quick. The location couldnt have been any better. It was right off of the interstate which is very convenient when driving long distances.

Worth the money

Not the Ritz, but pretty much what I expected for the cheap price. Rooms were clean enough, which is all the really matters to me when I get the cheapest motel in town. All in all, a satisfactory experience.
