Most recent user reviewsScore 4 out of 5 Great Room for Price Mary, 2006-07-08 In addition to the restaurant directly across from the hotel, there are several major restaurants, fast foods and a small mall at the exit prior to the hotel. At Gallup Days Inn West, we were greeted immediately and checked in without delay. At that time we were also given a discount coupon for the restaurant directly across the street. The room was more than adequate for the two of us. After driving for the majority of the day, it was wonderful to find a mattress that didn't sag and which gave us a good night's sleep the next day's journey. The next morning we took advantage of the free breakfast, which consisted of cereal, bagels, toast, fresh fruit and of course coffee, tea and juice. Score 1 out of 5 We arrived late and were given a room in back. Sadie, Denver, CO, 2006-05-28 The hotel has no security, we were afraid to leave our vehicle parked in the parking lot. People were walking around drunk and loud. The walls in our room were paper thin and we could hear fighting in the next room (very scary). The carpet in our room was very old, and dirty (needs to be replaced), we were afraid to walk on it without our shoes. Very bad place to stay. Score 1 out of 5 Don't waste your time Brian, 2006-05-28 There is McDonalds, chinese and a few other resturants within walking distance. Also, a gas station is across the street. The hotel has a good location, easy off and on I-40.Check in was finished with Ok, your done. No directions to room. Air conditioner didn't work, no extra pillows...request was met with We are out of extra pillows. Upstairs walkways were a bit soft in places. Larry, Phoenix, AZ, 2006-02-23 Breakfast in morning was very good at the motel. We arived and were checked in amediately and explained where our room was. Room was in a good, clean state but a little chilly for us but warmed up quickly. Bathroom and shower area was very clean and plenty of water pressure to shower. Breakfast was easy to access and eat at tables or take to room. A good place to stay! Score 4 out of 5 Pleasant Stay Anonymous, Las Cruces, NM, 2005-10-25 The area along Route 66 is great for shopping, especially for Native Ameriacan Jewelry & pottery. We were greeted by a very pleasant staff member at the front desk after a very late Arrival. They were very helpful with giving information about good places to eat and about the area for shopping. The room was very clean and comfortable. The continental breaskfast was enough to get you on the road. |
