We stayed in a non-smoking room that had burn marks on the night stand and burn holes in the blankets and carpet. We would not walk on the carpet without socks as it looked too dirty. Most every part of the hotel and room simply looked abused and worn out. Fortunately the beds were brand new, otherwise we would have walked out as soon as we walked in. The A.C. was nice and cool and the shower/bath tub looked new. We were panhandled in the parking lot, assuming by a guest because he walked in the rear door; I reported it to the front desk. Needless to say I did not feel it was safe for my family here and would not recommend to other families. The price was inflated considering the overall condition of the hotel. Score 1 out of 5 Not for pleasure. Anonymous, 2005-08-05 Do not think you are getting a good deal. This is where out of town workers stay. We had to check that the beds were clean, they hadn't finished making them. The air conditioner kept freezing up so it wouldn't cool. The maids didn't pull doors closed after cleaning, so your room was left unlocked until you returned. Food trucks were left running outside windows. I actually thought it was a different Super 8 in Farmington. I didn't mean to stay there. I'll be much more careful in the future.
