Most recent user reviewsScore 5 out of 5 friendly oscar, Fort Lauderdale, FL, 2007-03-07 The hotel was off the main highway and 10 miniutes from the main shopping centers and many restaurants. The hotel was clean and centraly located for the budget travelor. The hotel had a friendly staff. The rooms were clean and had all the necessities for ones stay. The continental breakfast was appropriately titled A compliment to your breakfast, which was appropriate. But for this travelor the breakfast was satisfying. The business center was a plus and the free internet service was a most welcome surprise and an advantage. Score 1 out of 5 Bed Bugs Anonymous, 2006-12-10 The stay at this hotel was just ok. During my 2nd night I noticed "bed bugs" in my bed. They moved me to another room but it doesn't change the fact that that is just nasty. Score 3 out of 5 Central Location Dale, 2006-11-20 Easy access to golf courses via the interstate. The Days Inn Albuquerque is a decent place to stay. The cleaning service folks were freindly and helpful. Check in was a snap. The motel is convenient to restaurants and shopping. Could access the interstate with very little trouble. All in all I had a good visit to the Albuquerque area. Score 2 out of 5 Review Anonymous, 2006-10-08 Several small malls and shopping centers are in the area, jsut watch where you're going on the frontage road. Hotel is less than a mile from the Highway.Check in was efficient, but the fun ended there. I notified the clerk upon check out of the condition of the room and she appeared concerned so hopefully they will spend a little extra time fixing it. Still, I don't plan on staying there again. Score 3 out of 5 You Get What You Pay For Anonymous, 2006-09-25 There were various restaurants close-by.My title says it all, "Days Inn," was inexpensive and the amnenities were 'so-so.' Score 4 out of 5 find a home Anonymous, San Diego, CA, 2006-09-20 There was a cafe just across the street. The Days Inn hotel was comfortable up to the point where it smelled like cigarette smoke in a non smoking room for the entire stay. It also smelled stale. Score 1 out of 5 Horrible Experience jeremy, 2006-09-04 This Days Inn was the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. When I checked in there was a very strange odor in the lobby. The straw that broke the camels back was when we went into the room it smelled and the bed was broken right down the middle. You would be crazy to stay here. I would rather sleep in a box under the interstate. Needless to say I didn't stay very long before I went and found more suitable accomodations Score 2 out of 5 Not very happy Carolyn, Chicago, IL, 2006-09-03 rental car is helpful to get aroundThe Days Inn of Albuquerque on Menaul Rd was somewhat disappointing. The problem was bugs in the room, large "water bugs", otherwise known as American roaches. This made my wife quite uncomfortable and she wouldn't leave anything on the floor. I understand that these type of things like the bugs comes with the area of the country, but she has never been out west or the southwest, or even south at all. So, it was somewhat of a problem on this trip, to say the least. Score 1 out of 5 Very Unhappy Anonymous, Albany, NY, 2006-08-31 When I got to The Days Inn everything was going ok. The check in was fine but when I got to the room the remote control had no batteries in it and the door was very hard to open and close. I awoke the next morning to use the bathroom and there were 3 cockroaches crawling around my room. I called the front desk and they sent someone over immediately. The maintenance man saw them and after he left there were 3 more ( a total of 6 ). I had to wait until my ride could come and get me 4.5 hours later. I sat in the middle of my bed from 5:30 AM until 10:00 AM. I will never stay at another Days Inn. Score 5 out of 5 great location Mariah, 2006-08-21 Everything is near. The exits, mountains, casino's, downtown, shopping and the shuttle will take u anywhere from the hotel (w/in reason) in case u are going to drink. All hotel staff was great, however, the room was clearly not cleaned. As a matter of fact there were toenail clippings laying by one of the beds and one of the pillows had something?? on it. The bathtub and sink area did not look like it was scrubbed out very well and on the granite top the writing was still on the front. By the way the room number was 3216 and i bet the toe-nail clipping is still there (by the far bed). Not a big deal but clean is good thing!! it really did not effect my trip, but just thought you'd want to know. a satisfied customer |
