Excellent continental breakfast

Home cooking cafe was just across the hotel parking lot.

Check in was a breeze when I arrived. After deiving 500 miles, I was ready for a pleasant motel experience, which I had.

Convenient; good value

This hotel is only a short drive from the International UFO Museum, which is a major Roswell attraction. This museum is entered with a donation of $2.00 for adults and $1.00 for children. Be aware they accept cash only for entrance.

This Best Western is on the main road in Roswell and very easy to find. It is across the street from Denny's, Applebee's, and IHOP, and a short distance from major fast food restaurants. It was a good value overall. The room was very comfortable; in fact, it was one of the most comfortable hotel beds I have ever slept in! The bathroom is large, and I liked the fact that there was a vanity area outside of the bathroom itself, so I could get ready while my husband was showering. The front desk staff was very welcoming and knowledgeable about the local area, and they have a free breakfast in the morning. The business center was also convenient, easy to use, and available at no exta charge. I am happy we chose to stay here on our way to Carlsbad Caverns.

Go to the museum in downtown griswold.

The rooms were large with the bathroom being seperated from the vanity area. The continental breakfast was fine (with make your own waffles)

A very family oriented restaurant is located within a short walk.

The Best Western El Rancho, Roswell, is in a good location-across the street from Denny's, Applebee's, etc. The rooms are comfortable and the hotel provides a good value on a night's stay.

Two or three dining places within a block or so.

The Best Western El Rancho motel in Roswell, NM was a good value for what we paid. The staff was fast and friendly. The room was good sized and clean and comfortable. The free breakfast was very good and it included hot waffles and hot biscuits and gravey.

Chain restaurants were fairly close

The facility needs a whole new redo. Adjacent to the main drag, the traffic noise is very loud. Check in was amazingly slow.

My review of Best Western El Rancho Palacio

A nice resturant next door that was a top choice of "Taste of Home" .

The location was excellent. The price was very reasonable and I would recommend this hotel to anyone. The room was clean and spacious enough. The only problem I had was corresponding with the maid who did not speak English. There were plenty of resturant choises and shopping choices.
