Score 4 out of 5 Good budget hotel Anonymous Camden College 10 minute driveThis hotel was good for the price. It was easy to find, however not in the greatest part of town. The bathroom was amazing, and the Tub was awesome. The room was big, and even had a sitting area outside over looking the pool. It had Free High speed internet access. Overall, I am satisfed with the hotel and would recomend for someone on a budget. ALso, it only 10 mins to Camden Comunity college, for those that live far and need to talk a test there. Score 5 out of 5 Friendly and Courteous in every way. Linda, 2006-10-27 We particularly enjoyed Philadelphia's antiquing nearby. We loved the spaciousness of the rooms and were thrilled with the enormous and luxurious hot tub in our room! Score 3 out of 5 Good bathroom tub Anonymous, 2006-07-04 Check-in was easy, the stairs to the room was dirty and smelly, the room was big but old, dark and dirty looking. The bathroom was big with a hugh bath tub and a separte shower. House cleaning did not clean all days. Score 2 out of 5 Lots of kids tim, 2006-06-22 The Phily Diner wasn't bad and just a few miles down the road. I had the Spinach and Feta Omelet with tomatoes and a bagel with coffee. Pretty good. The fellow lodgers I met briefly were all very nice and many cultures were represented; to me that was nice. There were however a lot of kids screaming and playing in the pool, which I don't normally mind but found a little distracting and kept me from feeling like I wanted to use the pool. The free breakfast was absolutely rediculous compared with other facilities I have stayed at. The people were nice and were efficiant; I didn't have to wait long to get my room. And the room was ok, a little on the darker older side but livable. The area wasn't that spectacular, a little on the run down side. I would recomend this to a friend seeking a cheap hotel but not if they were seeking a nicer one. Score 4 out of 5 Basic Services were Good Anonymous, 2006-02-08 Go to the Deptford Mall area for all your services; food and shopping. The Howard Johnson's Express was a good value for those looking for overnight accomodations only. Rooms were neat and clean and staff was freindly. If you are looking for curb appeal this is not the place. Located conveniently on the Blackhorse Pike off of RT 42 South, it has easy access in and out. One big feature is the close proximity to the Deptford Mall. There is shopping for every taste and style and plenty of great restaurants to choose from only minutes away. The continental breakfast served in the morning is adaquate, with bagels, doughnuts, fresh juice and coffee. The outdoor pool is a nice facility, but it is open only during the summer months. The motel staff gave me a room with a king size tub. This jacuzzi style bathtub was big enough for two comfortalby but had no water jets. The upgrade was a good indication of the managements' desire to satisfy the customer. I would stay there again if I only wanted an overnight accomodation. |
