Hotel is right on the boardwalk and you can get to any boardwalk casino from here. The Tropicana and Hilton casinos are right across the street!

Nothing special... just a place to lay your head at night. However, being new year's eve, the price gets jacked up to 4 times the normal price. Jeeeez.

The new mall at atlantic city is only a few blocks.

The Howard Johnson was very convenient, the room was large and it had a balcony. The location was great, since it was only a block away from the boardwalk. Furthermore, it was close to major casinos and stores. I would definetely recommend this hotel to a friend.

great room for a great price

the howard johnson hotel doesnt seem like much from the out side but as they say "you cant judge a book by its cover" once inside it is a very nice place wit very curtious clerks--the pool is very big and would have been nice but due to winter it was closed-- our room was very nice compaired to othere we've stayed in and for the money is is a very good deal--the Tropicana casino is a mere 2 blocks from this hotel with others close by--based on our experience here we would be more than happy to stay here again and most probally will "great job Howard Johnson" !!!

Good Location, Comfortable Room

The Room at the Howard Johnson Hotel was very clean and comfortable. The hotel's location was very close to two of the casino hotels. We had no problem getting the jitney to the casinos. Very pleasant experience.

Tropicana-The Quarter, buffet or 5star dinning. All price ranges and cuisines.

The Howard Johnson Atlantic City is convient to the Boardwalk and casinos. The hotel itself is showing its age. The staff were very nice and helpful. The parking is available, but inconvient; about a1/2 block away at the Holiday Inn. Bringing bags in was a little laborous.

you could tell this is an old hotel. everything looked run down,the staff was nice though. i wouldn't go back.

Close to casinos and beach. But not close enough or safe enough to walk. Recommend the mini bus that runs in the area. $2

The right spot

1. There are a lot of restaurants that deliver to your room. 2. You can reach a casino either on your left of your right. 3. You can reach the boardwalk in three minutes or less. 4. There's a food court in the Tropicana.

The Howard Johnson was very well kept. Everything from the bathroom to the sleeping area was nice and clean. The hotel itself was in the right spot. It was right in the middle of everything. You didn't have to walk far to to get the casinos.
