Most recent user reviewsScore 4 out of 5 A Regular Hotel Anonymous The biggest plus for this hotel was the access to the nearby airport and train station to New York City. The hotel provides a shuttle service on call 24 hours a day.The Days Hotel provided us with comfortable rooms, (non-smoking as requested). There wasn't any restaurants or attractions near by that I noticed, just the airport. If you want a reasonably priced, standard hotel, that provides quick access to NYC, than I suggest you check out the Days Hotel. Score 4 out of 5 My review of Days Hotel Newark Airport Anonymous, 2007-03-01 No frills, the hallways were kind of worn looking. The room was fine - good size, bed was comfortable, internet access was free and fast. The dining staff was very friendly and attentive. The hotel met my needs for a one-night stay near the airport. Score 5 out of 5 Excellent option at 20 minutes away from New York Jose, Boston, MA, 2007-02-19 Keep in mind that you will have to pay the tunnel toll (only one way)The hotel was very confortable. This Hotel offers a good quality at a cheaper price that any in Manhatan. It is only 20 minutes driving away from Manhatan Score 5 out of 5 friendly Anonymous, 2006-10-28 a lot of stuff around the hotelEverything is ok Score 4 out of 5 ok Anonymous, 2006-09-17 Hotel was clean and check in was fast. The location was very confusing to get to. NJ airport not the easiest to get around. If you got far from the hotel, it was a scary sight! Score 2 out of 5 Review Anonymous, San Francisco, CA, 2006-04-24 Score 3 out of 5 Good Value @ Newark Anonymous, 2005-09-28 Standard hotel rooms with nothing special other than being adjacent to Newark Airport. Prices were lower than other nearby hotels. Score 5 out of 5 close to airport Anonymous, Atlanta, GA, 2005-09-24 The Days Hotel Newark is so close to the airport that i can get from the rental car check-in to the hotel check-in in less than 10 minutes. This is great, especially when arriving very late (midnight, 1a.m.) or leaving early, 5a.m. I am particularly happy that there is a courtesy bus, which allows me to drop my rental car off the evening before, and thenI can be taken straight to the airline the next morning for early 6a.m flights. Score 3 out of 5 Good if You're on a Budget! Anonymous, Santa Clara, 2005-08-18 We were at this hotel for 3 nights while visiting NYC and New Jersey from August 15 to August 18. The hotel/motel was in a typical Days Inn standard; bathroom appeared to a bit outdated. Our room had a musty odor when we entered, and the odor stayed on for the duration of our trip. Breakfast was definitely overpriced, so don't even bother. Our major complaint was the location of the hotel, and the difficulty of getting to it even though the hotel is located "off the freeway"; the freeway system around Newark Airport area is very confusing! If you're traveling on a budget, and are only looking for a place to stay overnight, then this is definitely a hotel for you. Score 3 out of 5 My review of Days Hotel Newark Airport Anonymous, Pittsburgh, PA, 2005-07-01 The hotel was convenient since it was located across from the airport. Shuttle was great. Only one elevator was working and the room was a bit dirty. |
