Out by the airport. The shopping mall is a short across town but easy to get to. Minot is a nice little city with big city emnities.

A very short walk to the Minot State Campus

Overall for a cost effective place to stay it was OK. The owners/staff were vey friendly. My main comments are as follows: I arrived at 1 a.m. so I placed the do not disturb sign on the door. The next day I left the room around 10:30, after the cleaning crew had done their fist sweep on the ground floor. No on ever returned to clean my room. When I returned at 6 pm I went to the desk and noted the problem. The desk person got me clean towels and other items. An additional comment is that the floors are very thin and I could hear people walking in the rooms above. Also the Heating /AC united mounted on the inside room wall is very noisy. When the fan comes on it woke me up. I ended up turning it off even thought it was 10 degrees outside.

Clean Rooms

Scandinavian Heritage Park about 2 miles south on Broadway. There is no charge except for donations.

The employee at the desk at check in was very nice and helpful. The rooms were clean and comfortable. They serve a continental breakfast in a room just off the desk, the room has no tables to sit at and is very congested. No more than 2 people at one time. The parking lot is small.

Great Stavekirk at welcome center. A church made completely of small wooden pieces and other scandanavian sights in a park at the welcome center in town. Also includes statues and other interesting history. don't iss seeing it lit up at night.
