The Italian resturant next door smells good

Lodge America was very comfortable, the rooms were nice. The hotel is very close to the local resturants with easy access in and out.

We were there mainly because of a show at the Carolina Theatre. If you get the chance to see a show there, go! The sound is great, as is the seating arrangements. It is a beautiful old building!

We only stayed one night, but it was comfortable and quiet. The room is spacious, and I liked the arrangement of a breakfast bar in the kitchen. They had a coffee machine (although they didn't supply coffee - we had to buy some!),stove, microwave & full sized fridge. The bath area was clean and full-sized. The check-in was quick and although we didn't dine out, there were many places to eat, all within walking distance. I would recommend this hotel to anyone staying in the area!

Lodge America, is NOT the place for an Overnight Business Traveler.......Designed for "Extended Stay" Clientele! Coffee Maker.....NO Coffee supplied! NO "In-house" restaurant Available. All rooms, with Exterior Entry ( Safety) Check-in required a Photo Copy of credit Card & Driver's License ?? Rooms were Clean & Neat !!

Ok if you want to cook in the room

There's an Italian restaurant next door and fastfood across the street. That's where I went for my meals.

The room was clean but it was a smoking room however, there were no ash-trays. This is an okay room if you're not expecting a continential breakfast and if you're staying a peroid of time on a budget and want to cook in the room....as it does have a full kitchen.

A full variety of stores and places to eat.

The staff was outstanding, The room was average. They could supply full size ironing boards and an iron in the room though.

disappointed in the fact that they only gave you a bar of soap. no shampoo. a coffee pot but no coffee. there was also no hair dryer. i could understand if you were staying for a few weeks you would go out and buy it. for a few nights they should give you the above. other than that it was great. i would stay there again in april for the spring furniture market. good location easy access to roads and restaurants.

Plenty of eating areas nearby even in walking distance and the location was close and right by the interstate.

The room was really cozy and clean. I felt it was really affordable. I would stay again.

Great resturants with in less than a mile

LodgeAmerica was a great value for what we got. The room was very large(bigger than a regular room) and was very clean. I would definetly stay here again!
