Most recent user reviewsScore 2 out of 5 A little seedy Anonymous It is very close to the airport and I-85In spite of some renovations, this particular Days Inn has gone downhill. While the room itself was adequately clean and furnished, the common areas such as the hallway were worn and not particularly clean. For example, during the 3 nights I spent there the hall was never vacuumed and had several wads of chewing gum in the carpet, pieces of paper on the floor, etc. The surroundings didn't make me feel especially safe in this hotel. This hotel suit our needs just fine. Score 4 out of 5 Nice but needs to lower rates Anonymous, 2006-12-20 The room was nice but the hallway had a bad smell like a skunk. i know they were remodling and maybe that had something to do with it. Other than that our stay was fine. We also had a smoking room but had no ashtray and had no towels except the small ones. Score 5 out of 5 Very Convenient Loue, Charlotte, NC, 2006-11-27 This motel is very close to the airport and the coliseum. There are also plenty of dining options and shopping nearby. The Days Inn Charlotte Airport Coliseum was a very clean, comfortable motel in which to stay. The desk clerk was extremely helpful at our check-in. We had to catch a flight out the next morning. She arranged a shuttle for us to the airport. We were able to leave our car parked at the motel the entire time we were gone at no additional cost. When we returned from our trip, we called for the motel shuttle to come and pick us up. The shuttle arrived at the airport within 15 minutes. The shuttle driver suggested an alternate route to our destination that saved us a lot of driving time. Overall, this was an excellent choice for our trip! Score 5 out of 5 Great chepa stay Anonymous, Los Angeles, CA, 2006-11-01 Bank of America coliseumThis was a great hotel for the price. Conveniently located near airport and downtown charlotte was only four miles away. Little restaurant options around hotel but overall very good experience. Score 5 out of 5 Excellent stay for less Anonymous, Los Angeles, CA, 2006-11-01 Bank of America Stadium where the Carolina Panthers play. This was my first time at the Days Inn. I had an excellent experience. The staff was friendly and the room was very clean. The upkeep was terrific. However, this isn't a five star hotel, the swimming pool was not working and I had a little bit of trouble with the door to get into my room. The door sometimes would get stuck a little. Also I asked for a wake up call and did not receive it. But for the most part it was great. I loved the breakfast in the morning and the accessibility to and from the airport. I would definetly stay here again and recommend it to people looking for a non-expensive hotel to stay in. Score 5 out of 5 very helpful douglas, Minneapolis, MN, 2006-10-17 real handy,to airport.good shuttle serviceas i had a bad knee, they moved my room ,so i did not have to walk very far, they went out of there way,to help me anyway.great staff.the room was very clean. Score 4 out of 5 Location difficult to find Anonymous, 2006-10-03 only the airport- no good restraurants were near the hltelThe hotel was satisfactory except that the location was very difficult to find. It was close to the airport but in a spot that was not readily accessible. Score 3 out of 5 Convenient Anonymous, Philadelphia, PA, 2006-09-25 This was a hotel where you have business to take care of and need a place to stay. They offered free continental breakfast which was good, but don't expect alot. The staff was courteous and freindly. It's close to the airport and the highway. |
