Downtown Blowing Rock is just a short drive from the Inn and there are lots of stores, resturants, and beautiful scenery to enjoy.We stayed at the Village Inn because renovations were being done at the Ridgeway Inn. Our stay was quite and very cozy. We liked the beautiful hardwood floors and country-like surroundings. The tiles in the bathroom were great and having a tub instead of just a shower was great, too. The pond in the front was pretty and we enjoyed watching the ducks in the pond. The running water from the creek behind our room was very soothing and fun to watch. We enjoyed the hot tub on the porch and spent several hours talking under the stars. On January 18th, we were excited to wake up with snow on the ground. It was beautiful!
