TERRIBLE ROOM

WE GOT TO THE ROOM A LITTLE EARLY THE LADY AT THE DESK STATED SHE DIDN'T THINK THE ROOM WAS READY BUT WOULD GO AHEAD AND GIVE ME THE KEY SO WE COULD PUT OUR THINGS IN THEIR..WE PUT SOME THINGS IN THE ROOM..WE PUT THE DRINKS IN THE FRIDGE..WHEN WE RETURNED AROUND 4:30- 4:45 THE ROOM WAS STILL DIRTY..I CALLED THE FRONT DESK WE WERE MOVED TO ROOM 215 ABOVE THE ROOM WE WERE STAYING IN..THE ONLY PROBLEM IS NO FRIDGE..I CALLED DOWN STAIRS TO FIND OUT ABOUT A FRIDGE...ONE WAS BROUGHT UP BUT DIDN'T WORK..THE CURTAINS WOULD NOT CLOSE SO MY HUSBAND PUT A BLANKET OVER THE GAP..WE NEVER HAD TOWELS AFTER I CALLED DOWN STAIRS 6 OR 7 TIMES I WAS TOLD THERE WAS NOT ANY READY..THIS STARTED FRIDAY - SUNDAY.. WE FINALLY GOT 2 TOWELS NO WASH CLOTHS WERE AVAILABLE. MY HUSBAND EXERCISES EVERY NIGHT HE IS A RUNNER .I WAS TOLD THE EXERCISE GYM WAS CLOSES THE EQUIPMENT WAS BROKE..IT WOULD OF BEEN NICE TO KNOW THIS INFO IN ADVANCE..ALSO I KEPT HEARING SOMETHING BEEPING IT WAS THE BATTERY IN THE FIRE ALARM THE BATTERY WAS DEAD...WE ASKED FOR SOME MORE PILLOWS BUT THERE WAS NONE AVAILABLE...NOT A SURPRISE...I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL TO ANYONE...THE ZOO WAS GREAT AND ASHEBORO IS A GREAT PLACE...BUT THE HOTEL IS GIVING DAYS-INN A BAD NAME....I AM USUSALLY TOLERATE AND UNDERSTANDING BUT WHEN I CALLED THE LAST TIME FOR TOWELS AND THE GIRL AT THE DESK TOLD ME THERE WAS SOME TOWELS, I COULD COME AND PICK THEM UP...

Hotel below expectation

The Hotel was below our expections.The room was not clean and had a Musty odor to it. The breakfast was supposed to be from 6:00 am to 9:00 am. At 7:15 am,there was no hot food on the buffet and they never did re-stock it. The orange juice was watered down,And we had to wait to get coffee. They need someone to staff the Breakfast Full time and keep everything stocked. They did a very poor job. I will not be staying there again.

Had to work to get towels, ice bucket!

When we got there we had one towel, we had to ask for more and ask for an ice bucket?? Then they said you had to get towels for swimming frim the desk, but they had run out?? Overall the room was not very clean- the toliet paper looked as if it had been wet? Not very happy with the hotel.

Very Dirty and Unclean

The Best Western - Asheboro was very dirty. I don't think the bathroom floors had been swept or mopped in days. The bathtub looked horrific. I didn't even stay the night and left on the same day as I checked in.
