There are plenty of good restaurants around.

First off there was an unsavory individual begging to use the phone when I checked in because she "Had to call a friend so she could get some money to pay her security deposit." Next the wireless internet didn't work. There was another guest in the lobby complaining about this when I checked in. I called the front desk and told the attendant that it wasn't working and he said I was wrong and was the only one that had ever had problems. He then hung up on me.

A Lousy Stay

Don't need to go to the bathroom in a hurry.

My reservation was for Sat. Check in at 2pm. I arrived at 4am Sat..with a major problem. I had an upset stomach and NEEDED to go to the restroom.. I got to the hotel in hopes to rent a room for Fri. pm.,they were sold out. I BEGGED the mgmt. to please let me use their restroom. NO. I am in DIRE STRAITS.It was their policy NOT to let anyone use their employee bathroom and they did not have a restroom in the lobby. So I go 2 motels down the road, they didn't have a restroom in the lobby either, but they did have a room. I checked in and later on, at 8am I went back to the motel and asked for a refund as I had already checked in 2 doors down and did not want to have to check out and all that mess. NO again. I explained to them WHY I did not want to stay there and they again told me no refund. I explained to them my laptop was 8 hrs. spoke with the employee and then he called his boss and she was the one who told me her computer had crashed. I had to check out and then check in there.She told me the rules were not to let anyone use the restroom. I told her that in instances like the one I was in, rules were made to be broken. THERE WAS ABSOLUTELY NO COMPASSION WHATSOEVER IN THESE FOREIGNERS.....I GUESS YOU INHERIT COMPASSION ONLY IN AMERICA. The local restrooms at the gas stations in Wilmington wouldn't let you use them, either. I had stopped at three gas stations , I have never seen any city like it. I won't go back. When I arose Sunday am..my back felt like a pretzel.The room was ok..just their hospitality reeked. No elevator.NO hairdryer, either.

Simple Hotel

This hotel, was very basic. I knew this going into it, but it was the cheapest hotel and had a decent location. Might stay here again, but doubt it!

Lousy hotel

This was a terrible motel that I would not recommend to anyone. Old, worn out, overpriced. Just plain bad.

Good, cheap option

This is a great hotel if you want access to downtown and the beach but don't wish to pay the prices associated with those locations. Reccommended for families, or couples.
