The staff was very friendly and they had a nice, small free continental breakfast the next day. There were lights in the room that didn't work and it wasn't the light bulbs. The location was about 3 miles from my business meeting the next day so that was good. Score 3 out of 5 Front desk not very freindly. cynthia, 2006-07-13 Wrightville beach is 10 minutes away. Plenty of public parking available but arriving between 10:OO & 10:30 will assure you a close parking spot.Unable to check into hotel due to a power outage. I realize the power outage wasn't the Ramada Inn's fault but the front desk personnel wasn't very welcoming/accomodating considering we had a long day of travel and weren't unable to check in for 2 hours. Bascially, hospitality didn't seem like a priority to the front desk personnel. Another time I asked for directions and the front desk person responded Sorry, don't know where that is. I thought at least they could have offered a phone book/map of the area. Lastly, hotel pool wasn't inviting. Sides of pool were dirty. In other words, there was a one inch black ring around the whole pool that was visable when entering the pool to swim.
