Most recent user reviewsScore 3 out of 5 OK. Only Ok. Ken, Charlotte, NC, 2007-02-23 Country Hearth Inn, Lexington, NC is very convenient, but we found the room lacking. No vanity in bathroom...no makeup area...had to put toiletries, shaver, etc on microwave in entrance area because of no space in bathroom. Also, room was above a kitchen area, and beginning about 4 a.m. we heard noise from kitchen and the ventilation was poor, because smells from kitchen came into our room. Score 4 out of 5 Good Basic Suite Anonymous, New York, NY, 2006-12-28 The Country Hearth Inn was a comfortable, no frills Suite. The room was spacious for one, good for two. Decore was standard mid level hotel. No room service; but there was a coffee maker, small fridge, microwave and hair dryer. I could have lived without the fridge and microwave, but the coffee pot and hair dryer were very welcome; though small and basic. There was a small sofa, desk, armore with TV, and bureau. Local phone calls were free. I did see internet hook ups, but did not use them so have no idea if there were fees attached. Bathroom was disapointing. Tub was fiber glass and small; though there was plenty of very hot water. Door opened into the room and made fast entrances and exits arkward. Not a 2 person bathroom. Hotel is close to major roadways, yet set back and quite. Food and everyday shopping were near by but un exciting. Over all I would stay there again if I was in the area. Score 5 out of 5 Good Value Anonymous, 2006-07-25 A good BBQ restaurant, numerous fast food places, and other restaurants are nearby.Country Hearth is a good value for Lexington. Rooms are comfortable, roomy, and near numerous dining spots...several within walking distance. |
