Most recent user reviewsScore 2 out of 5 Noisy and uncomfortable Anonymous This motel is located on a very busy road that has a lot of truck traffic. The motel was old but had been remodeled and was clean. The bed however was uncomfortable and the pillows were flat and of little support. The room did have a refrigerator and a microwave. I had trouble adjusting the temperature in the room. The air conditioning system was very loud but it came in handy to muffle the street traffic. I choose to go several blocks behing the motel to catch a light to turn onto Marine Drive as the road was very busy. As far as being close to the areas I needed to go, it wasn't bad. Next time I am in Jacksonville, I will choose another place to stay. Score 2 out of 5 Not Happy Nikki, Appleton, WI, 2006-05-10 There was a lot of shopping and dining within minutes from the hotel. I would say 5 minutes away, that part was nice.I was a little disappointed when we got to the hotel, first because the lady working the front desk was very young and she had 4 boys there goofing around with her. Then my mom had to go back in because our key didn't work. The second that that I was disappointed in was the fact that there was no parking, we had to park in the back alley. Not good for 2 women in a strange place in the dark to have to park in an alley, when there should have been plenty of stalls avaiable. The pool was right in front of a busy highway, so we couldn't get any peace when we went out there. Plus, trying to sleep with that highway there was almost impossible. When we walked into the room it smelt like mold and the carpet felt wet. The bathroom floor was sticky and the tub looked like it had been painted. Our room looked basically like they tried to remodel it, but ran out of money. I was not happy that I had to spend so much money a night at a gross hotel. I will probably never stay there again and I won't recomend it to anyone either.
