Very crummy neighborhood. Rooms very bare bones with a few cosmetic upgrades. Tiny bathroom, not enough towels, bathtub was not clean, toilet kept stopping up. Mattresses uncomfortable, door did not seal properly when shut and cold air blew in all night. Very little area to prepare coffee. Breakfast bar was actually pretty nice and well equipped, but very small eating area. This place is not a good value for the money. This place is surrounded by low-rent hotels and pawn shops. Not good for families. Ok for single Marines who want to get away from the squadbay for the night!

Service with a smile

A drugstore was across the street, which made it easy to obtain a map and much needed products for our flight back to NY.

My overnight stay at The Best Western, Jacksonville, NC was a very positive experience. Although my trip was to attend a Memorial Service for a very close family member, the staff was very accomodating to helping us find our way to the hotal when we became lost, with very corteous and helpful directions, and a very pleasant mannerism to our needs at 1:00 am in the morning when we arrived. Thank you for helping us through this very difficult time by greeting us with a comforting smile. The continental breakfast area provided us with a quiet place to eat, while the staff made sure the food was fresh, and plentiful, while keeping the area spotless and clean.

Good breakfast in the same parking lot.

The price was really reasonable. The hotel was clean and comfortable. The hotel staff were really nice and accomidating. They even let me check in a couple hours early because I arrived in town before check-in.

A wonderful place to stay

The Best Western is right in the middle of everything. Lots of Streak houses to choose from to eat at and lots of shopping areas.

The staff at best western were wonderful. They did what ever they needed to make us comfortable. I will definetly be staying there again next time I go to Jacksonville, NC.

Convenient

Shopping ane restuarants only a short distance away.

The hotel was a block from a convention that I was attending. The proximity was within walking distance and not as crowded with people. I had a first room floor which made access to my room very convenient. This is the third year that I stayed at this hotel and I would stay at this location again without any reservations.

A warm and friendly atmosphere

The Best Western, in Jacksonville, NC was a very nice surprise! It was our first stay in this state and we did not know what to expect. What we found was a clean, inviting atmosphere. The room was clean and spaciou.s There was everything we could need, or expect to find. Upon our departure there was a continental breakfast spread that could have passed for a full course meal! The food variety and quality was that of a restaurant. There was a nice seating arear with many tables set up around a TV with the morning show on. I fealt like I was at home in my living room! You could even make your own homemade waffles! Yum! The location was central to many NC areas which provided easy access to all.

i was visiting my daughter, it was my first time inJacksonville, the staff was very helpful with direction, very nice folks, they acted like i was all that matter to them , great personel.
