Most recent user reviewsScore 1 out of 5 pet friendly Anonymous, 2007-03-10 There was no hot water for showers. The pool water was cold and dirty. The hot tub was closed. The fitness room had only two pieces of equipment and one was broken. Room was clean and nice. Score 5 out of 5 A great place to have fun for the whole family. Melissa, 2007-02-17 If you get the chance go eat at the steak house called the Derby. AMAZING FOOD!!! Just a short drive from the motel.I was very impressed with the size of the rooms and the up keep was great. I wish next time we were closer to the pool as it was a long cold! walk after swimming to get back to the room. They offered a great continental breakfast with many choices. We will more than likely return to this motel for another 1 day get a way as a family. Score 2 out of 5 Not up to Red Lion standards Mary, Seattle, WA, 2006-08-21 This Red Lion property was pretty run down. The pool area was nice but our room and hallway smelled like mold or mildew. I had to go to the 2nd floor , up the stairs, to get the ice. The location is good, I hope they update and get rid of that smell. We left at 6:00am the next morning. Score 4 out of 5 Very good location for a Butte stay. Robert, San Diego, CA, 2006-08-18 The Brown Derby restaurant is just a few blocks away and I had the best steak dinner there I've had in years! The Red Lyon Hotel room contained a desk, a table, a large TV, and a King size bed, yet there was still plenty of room left. The location of the hotel was such that it was convenient to the airport {close to the road to the airport},a short distance to a shopping mall, and surrounded by numerous eating places including one in the hotel. Many Casinos are within walking distance of the hotel. Score 1 out of 5 My review of Red Lion Butte Betty, 2006-08-10 The food at the restaurant, after our long day on the road, was awful, and we ended up complaining to staff about it, a thing which we very rarely do. Our room was right next to the swimming pool--the window opened right into the pool area-- and music played the entire night in this area, making sleep difficult. Score 5 out of 5 A Night in Butt James, Ontario, CA, 2006-07-02 be sure to wear comfortable shoesMy wife and I were looking for a restful night from driving from Spokane WA and we found it. We enjoyed the breakfast offered to us the next day and were able to check out with no delay and we were on our way. Score 4 out of 5 Good Value richard, Calgary, AB, 2006-03-31 The hotel backs on a riveredge park with great walking trails for that morning stretch. Note: Dogs are not allowed in the park. The Red Lion in Butte was very comfortable with large rooms and nice appointments. The included continental breakfast was quite good and included some hot items such as scrambled eggs. Location is just off the I-15 (close enough to see but far enough to be quiet. Their restaurant is a bit over-priced but they are quite close to lots of others. Score 3 out of 5 Lost our reservation, but made amends Anonymous, 2005-08-23 The hotel was good ...a little older, but clean. They had data ports, but I don't think they had wireless internet. Score 1 out of 5 Terribly dirty! Kathi, Denver, CO, 2005-08-06 Sleep in your car...it will probably be cleaner!I walked into the room and was bowled over by the pungent smell of dog urine! I could see dark spots all over the floor where animals had urinated. The shower tiles had dirt and mold all over them and the toilet had urine on the seat! I called down for these things to be cleaned...but I had to purchase a can of Lysol before I would walk in the room again. Unfortunately there was a large forest fire that shut down the interstate, so every hotel in town was booked. Thank god it was only 1 night...this was the most disgusting room I have ever stayed in! Score 5 out of 5 Easy to get to David, Minneapolis, MN, 2005-07-29 Able to enter as well as get right back onto the the highway with ease.Right off the highway, quick check-in plus the employee saved me money by noticing that my son was resistered as an adult but clearly was not, Great guest service. |
