condition of room

ONE OF THE WORSE ROOMS I HAVE EVER ENCOUNTERED.DUE TO A MAJOR FURNITURE SHOW IN TUPELO ALL PLACES TO STAY WERE BOOKED SO I JUST PUT UP WITH THE ROOM AS IT WAS.I ONLY WISH MANAGEMENT WOULD TAKE A LOOK AT ROOM 147. I AM SURE THEY WOULD AGREE THAT THE ROOM IS NOT SUITABLE TO STAY IN DUE TO UNSANITARY CONDITIONS.

I had reserved four rooms at the Howard Johnson's Express based on a pleasant stay two years ago. When we checked-in, all four of us had to return to the desk for room re-assignments. Our original rooms were dirty and not ready for occupants. Even our newer rooms were lacking - no pillowcases or towels, and a few missing remote controls. The pool water was swamp green and unusable. The management eventually replaced all of our missing room items, but it was a poor first impression. I will not stay there again.
