Most recent user reviewsScore 5 out of 5 very friendly wll stay there again close to shopping and resturants Anonymous, 2006-11-25 Can walk to mall and Red lobster. Only complaint is the non smoking rooms I have stayed in all smell like stale smoke. No very pleasant. They have redone the lobby it is very nice, and they informed me they are redoing the rooms also, maybe it will take care of the stale smoke smell. If not I will still stay there because of the location, we ride our motorcyle up the Natchez Trace Pkwy and spend the night there and ride back home the next day. Great overnight trip. Score 3 out of 5 Nice for a short visit Joni, 2006-08-30 Barnes Crossing Mall, Hobby Lobby, Toys'R'Us, Old Navy, Shoe Carnival, Pier 1, and Wal-MartThe Best Western in Tupelo was nice. The staff was very friendly. The room was very comfortable. The bathroom was a little small but I can live with that. It was right next to Red Lobster and Applebee's with various other restaurants closeby. Just about all the shopping you would want to do in Tupelo was right there also. Really, my only complaint was that we got a non-smoking room and it smelled like someone had smoked in it. Score 2 out of 5 Best Western Tupelo, MS Anonymous, Atlanta, GA, 2005-08-24 Several family restaurants within walking distanceThe Best Western Tupelo was not quite up to the standards we've experienced in other Best Western locations. The room was spacious and comfortable, but the overall appearance of the hotel was unkempt. Room supplies such as plastic cups and coffee were not replenished by housekeeping on our second day. Several soft drink machines were out of order. There seemed to be a shortage of help in the office; the continental breakfast was fine, except that paper supplies were in short supply and no one could be found to restock. The hotel could be a great value for the money if improvements were made in maintenance and service. |
