Location, location, etc.

The motel was located in a depressed neighborhood on a major thoroughfare and finding a place to shop for grocries was scary. The check-in was complicated by our credit card being listed as a Mastercard, not the VISA used. We ended up paying cash for the room and I expect that we'll still get billed on the card, making it a very expensive stay. The refrigerator didn't work. The heating system could not be regulated. The saving grace was that it was more like a suite than a simple room.
