Club Memories is right behind the hotel you can walk it if you would like. And Roper's Rockin Country is down the street less than a quarter mile. You can walk it or drive. But it only takes a minute.

I think Motel 6 is exactly what you want when you need it. It is not a pain to hear the traffic next to the highway because if you check the location you know you are going to get it and if you don't want to hear it as much you can request a room at the back of the hotel. I enjoyed my stay here and will be back.

Bad hotel

The hotel in Hattiesburg Miss was not clean ,to defin clean, the floor was dirty ,the room smell like smoke,the beds did not look clean .That dad business and a wast of my money. MOTEL 6 IS BAD.

there is nothing close by it is all miles away from the room.

The room was al moldey and it was thick. The pool was closed. Maid service was at the dorr at 6:30am every morning. Very Rood and I left there after 4 days of stay to go else where. I wasn't able to get clean towels everyday. and I wasn't able to breathe in the room due to the mold and how bad it was in the rooms. I had a friend that stayied there also from alaska while there to see her husband too and had the same problems. So we looked for another hotel and found one that was twice cleaner,friendlier, and more space for the same price. I will not stay there ever again and I will not let anyone that i know stay there. I was very upset about the cleaness and how i was treated there.

There's all kinds of resturants around the hotel,but the Longhorn steak house in Columbia,just down the road, is great.

The hotel 6 in Hattieburg was comfortable.It had a good sized bathroom.The beds were comfortable.The only problem was that the t.v. did not work.There are numerous eating places and a Wal-mart supercenter just down the road.

Hattiesburg has some really great shops that I didn't expect to find in the town.

The room and the hotel staff were great. After visiting my husband at Camp Shelby me and my 21mo daughter came back to the hotel to find it swarming with police in bullet proof jackets. There was a four room drug bust going on. I locked ourselves into our room and didn't leave it until I had to the next day. I'm just really sad that this had to happen because it doesn't help the hotel. I wouldn't suggest this place to families with young children or women traveling alone or with children.

pleasure trip

Hotel is located next to a night club and all through the night it was extremely noisy. Several times people came by and banged on the door. I wouldnt stay here again.
