Most recent user reviewsScore 5 out of 5 Nostalgic value Michael, 2006-12-29 The range of inexpensive dining in the area is great and includes a variety of ethnic choices and some good mom and pop american. The Best Western Rail Haven is a nicely updated historic Highway 66 motel. The exterior is clean and neat and the rooms nicely redone. While there is no restaurant on grounds there are many in the area and the staff are very helpful with suggestions. The motel's continental breakfast is a step above most with name brand microvave breakfast sandwiches and fresh pastries, fruit, yogurt, ect. The price was low and the room had an iron and board, hair dryer, coffee maker, fridge and microwave. A great value. I'll be staying there again. Fantasic Caverns 15 mins away (I didnt like it however). The Best Western Route 66 Rail Haven was a great surprise for us. The rooms were large and the pillow top bed was super comfortable. I love the fact the pool is 24 hours and the lobby looks like a 50's diner. This was a very fun place to stay and central to be able to go to the caves in the area (Crystal Cave is the best) and anywhere else you want to go. We really enjoyed our visit and will stay there again. Score 5 out of 5 Nice place, would stay again. Rockie, 2006-04-15 Fast food within a couple of blocks. This is an older well kept, nice place with some of the best staff I've seen at anywhere near this star level. What a treat to talk friendly people who know what they're doing! I considered it a bargain and would definitely repeat. It has been refurbished, and was a fun place. Very clean, affordable. I liked it that it is on one floor, Didn't have to worry about stairs. I really liked the reception area, it's very original and looks like a drive thru diner. The staff was very nice and they let us check in several hours early. We were in our room within a couple minutes. The room was very clean and presentable. Our stay there was great, quite and undisturbed. |
