In an ongoing effort to improve our hotel, some minor construction will be taking place on the weekdays from 9am to 4pm until April 18th. There will be some construction noise during these improvements. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. It was, however, difficult for us to find the office for checking in because it was midnight with blinding snow and the main door to the office was fenced for construction purposes. There was no sign or marking that the office was there. We actually had to turn around to locate the office and turned back again until a staff saw us. The room was clean and spacious enough. The bathroom being separate from the vanity area was great. I liked the place because there was an iron/ironing board, clothes hanger and suitcase stands. I am also pleased that pets are not allowed in the facility. Another plus was that the cost was just right. Not so expensive. I have only two complaints: 1) The light bulb above the sink was burnt out. Burnt light bulbs should be replaced before the occupant arrives; and 2) there was no laundry bag available - it should be supplied. Anonymous, 2006-12-19 I was pleased with the overall experience but the shower was the problem...I had hot water but when pulling up on the lever to start the shower, only a small amount of water would come out of the shower head. Water came out of the spout as well as the small amount out of the shower head so it caused problems with the drain...the water couldn't drain out quick enough so I stood in water while trying to shower. The lighting in the vanity area could of been brighter. The staff was very friendly, the room was clean, there was a complimentary continental breakfast, and we were able to park our car there at no additional charge during our weekend out of town. I would certainly recommend it to either a business traveler or family who were looking for a reasonably priced convenient location. It was not luxurious but certainly comfortable and adequate for our needs. The room was large and very comfortable. It was a non-smoking room, but reaked of smoke. The hotel staff sprayed air freshner to eliminate some of the odor. The bed was good and comfortable. The bathroom was large and well lit. It was separate from the living area, and was separated into two sections, shower and toilet and dressing area. Nice. There was an ironing board and iron in the closet. Nice touch. But shower was dissapointing. NO water pressure. There was lots of water pressure from the tap, but when you changed it to shower, none. Would have been better off standing in the rain. Hair dryer was on the wall, but would not recomend. Only low setting. Shuttle to airport was prompt and curtious. This and the fact that it is so close to the airport are the only reasons I would recommend it to a friend. The breakfast was bad. You had to go in the hall to use the microwave. You had to search for milk and sugar. |
