Most recent user reviewsScore 4 out of 5 Basic accommodations Anonymous, 2006-12-10 Dixie StampedeNo frills, but clean and quiet. Ok place to stay if all you need is a place to sleep. Score 2 out of 5 Needs a Bulldozer David, 2006-07-27 This is Branson, MO the entertainment city of the state. This is a very old facility. The aircondition did not keep the room cool. The lighting in the room was poor. The toilet leaked at the base. The bath fan was so noisey we could not leave it on. The beds are worn out. Score 2 out of 5 Right On Strip Anonymous, 2006-07-19 No mini fridge or microwave in room although there is ice available. The hotel is right on the strip and a very short walking distance to several shows. Traffic is very heavy all day so plan accordingly. Score 4 out of 5 Honeymoon Destination Anonymous, 2006-07-18 The room was wonderful save about a five hour evening stretch in which there was a power outage. The crew worked diligently to keep the power on even using back-up generators. The stay was short so it is difficult to give an accurate account of a 'normal' stay. If the power outage had not happened the stay would have been good. Score 4 out of 5 Review Anonymous, 2006-07-10 Near Dick Clarks' American Bandstand and the Dixie StampedeScore 3 out of 5 Elsewhere for Comfort Anonymous, Tanana, AK, 2006-05-31 Shows, bumper boats and ice cream are right across the street. The Ramada Resort and Conference Ctr is definitely not for those that require a good night's sleep. Although the room was clean and the grounds and lobby are nice it does not make up for the overly hard and cheap mattresses and tiny, tiny bathroom. I am not usually a complainer but this hotel changed my mind. We started off on the wrong footing as the desk clerk on duty was quite rude. She never greeted us and went on to take care of business by making a phone call while we stood waiting to check in. I had assumed that the guests came first over regular hotel business. While we waited to be acknowledged we remained ignored when some hotel/motel regulars came to check in. I just like to be greeted and looked in the eye when I spend my hard earned money. Fortunately, the rest of the staff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was nice and plentiful and the location is good if you prefer walking to attractions as the traffic is heavy. The free high speed wireless is only in the lobby, the guest rooms have dial-up. Score 5 out of 5 very clean THERESA, St Louis, MO, 2005-11-27 Many restaurants,go-carts,shopping,etc. are within walking distance and short drive distanceThe room was very clean and comfortable. The room also was very quiet which is always nice. The bedding was clean and the room housekeeper was excellent. This hotel has been there a while but was very well kept. Score 5 out of 5 Comfortable Stay Anonymous, Des Moines, IA, 2005-09-10 The motel was easy to find. We arrived for our afternoon check-in and the desk clerk was knowledgeable and helpful. I had not asked for special accomodations but my husband finds it difficult to climb stairs due to a recent back injury. We were instructed how to get to our room without using stairs. A grab bar on each end of the tub would've been useful for my husband in showering, but he managed okay. The breakfast supplied was adequate and handy and made our stay a bit easier. We were visiting relatives in this general area so were away throughout the day. Bath and vanity placements were very good. Score 4 out of 5 Nice Ricky, Little Rock, AR, 2005-09-05 This hotel is across the street from Dixie Stampede!! I highly recommend going there, we had a wonderful time!!The Ramada Inn in Branson was not exactly what we expected. It looked more like an updated motel room than an actual hotel. The grounds were wonderful 2 beautiful pools lots of areas for play. Horseshoe area to play. When we first got there the air in our room did not work so it was super hot. We called and let the front desk know and they sent someone to fix it around 10 p.m. Other than that the price was perfect. The free breakfast was ok the food was not great, but they did have a entertainer there to sing oldies while you ate. Score 3 out of 5 An ok place Terry, Kansas City, MO, 2005-09-04 You are located pretty much in the center of the Branson strip. Ice cream and bumper boats right across the streetRoom was ok, Staff was ok, location was very good, right by the Dixie Stampede. I was a little disappointed in the fact that some of the neghboring new hotels were offering what I got for less $$$$ |
