Most recent user reviewsScore 5 out of 5 Very Comfortable and Lots of Room for Groups linda, St Louis, MO, 2006-12-10 Easy access to Tanger Outlet. 4 or 5 restaurants within walking area.We stayed at this hotel for the first time. We were with a group of 12. There are many areas for gathering and they are very comfortable and fairly private. There are sofas, chairs, tables and plenty of lighting. There is a "back way" through the adjoining parking lot which leads to the Tanger Outlet Mall making it very convenient to get there without using the main road. Very friendly and helpful staff. Definitely will stay here again. Score 5 out of 5 Wonderful stay Anonymous, 2006-09-05 There is a Denny's next door. The Hotel Grand Victorian was very comfortable, and they exceeded my expectations. although the elevator could be a bit faster, we were close to the all the attractions we wanted to go to, and they sell discount tickets for the shows, and not the time share kind of tickets, and we would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting branson. Score 5 out of 5 Great value J. Renee, 2006-09-04 Dennys Restaurant and Krispy Kreme are just next door and the red roof mall is within walking distance. We like to eat at Panera Bread on Green Mountain Drive about1/2 mile away, but there are many options to choose from within aaa 2-mile radius. The Hotel Grand Victorian was a great value for the location. It was convenient to shopping and attractions yet we were also able to travel the "color routes" to bypass the busy Highway 76 traffic. Each room has a private balcony, microwave and refrigerator. Their continental breakfast had more options than most, and they have hot tea and cookies in the afternoon. Probably for us, the best option was that pets were allowed. They offered other amenities that we did not use this time. They now have an outdoor pool and an indoor pool with hot tub. The room was clean, the staff was friendly and we will definitely stay there again. Score 5 out of 5 Great Get Away pauline, 2006-05-25 There is s Denny's next to this hotel and also a Krispy kreme on the other side of Denny's. Across the street there is a Ride the Ducks and then beside the hotel is a street going down to Tanger outlet mall where you will find tons of stores including Harry and David, which sell chocolate, and a Disney outlet. This hotel was not only beautiful outside but inside too. It had a victorian parlor on the floor I was on. There was 24 hour coffee and tea in the lobby and the place was just overall clean. The only problem I had was with my tv remote not working and the front desk said they would send someone up to look at it. I waited 2 hours with no one showing up. I had a private balcony over looking beautiful mountains and could see for miles. The pool was nice and clean. I couldn't have asked for more in a hotel. It was just a really nice place to stay and I will be going back. Score 5 out of 5 My review of Hotel Grand Victorian Anonymous, 2006-04-21 THE HOTEL WAS EXTREMELY CLEAN ALONG WITH THE ROOMS. THE LOBBIES AND PARLORS WERE ELEGANTLY DECORATED. THE STAFF INCLUDING THE MAIDS WERE VERY POLITE AND HELPFUL WITH INFORMATION ABOUT THE TOURIST SITES. THE INDOOR POOL WAS BEING RENOVATED WHILE WE WERE THERE BUT WE DID USE THE OUTDOOR POOL AND IT WAS VERY CLEAN WITH PLENTY OF TABLES, CHAIRS AND LOUNGES FOR THOSE NOT SWIMMING. THERE WAS A LOCKER FULL OF TOWELS AT THE POOLSIDE FOR HOTEL GUESTS USE WHICH WAS VERY NICE. THE ROOMS WERE VERY SPACIOUS AND CLEAN AND EACH ROOM HAD IT OWN BALCONY. THE CONTINENTAL BREAKFAST WAS A REAL TREAT. I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL. IT IS CENTRALLY LOCATED IN THE MIDDLE OF BRANSON'S TOURIST STRIP WITH SHOWS AND RESAURANTS WITHIN WALKING DISTANCE. Score 1 out of 5 Dirty, old and run down Joseph, Springfield, MO, 2006-03-12 The room was dirty, stains on the carpet, the bathroom door would not shut. The rooms were old and run down. Way over priced. Score 5 out of 5 Family Vacation Anonymous, Little Rock, AR, 2005-08-07 Your in the middle of 76...Everything is close..Arrived late, staff very friendly.Called ahead to check reservations, everything in order.Considering we leave early everyday for activities..good breakfast, friendly service...indoor pool not working Score 5 out of 5 Great for everyone! Nellie, 2005-05-27 My husband and I have been to Branson many times and stayed in many nice hotels, however, The Grand Victorian was by far the most pleasant, relaxing atmosphere we have ever enjoyed. From the moment we checked in until we checked out every minute was wonderful. The staff was great, and the entire atmosphere made us feel welcome and right at home. We enjoyed the decor both inside and outside. We are making plans to return with our grandchildren because it is so family-oriented with many fine amenities. The Grand Victorian Hotel would be great for any type occasion. We cannot wait for a return visit. |
