Toy and Miniature Museum
Occupying a 1911 mansion, this museum houses an extensive collection of antique dolls, more than 100 furnished dollhouses, marbles, and toys ranging from model trains to games, as well as perfect scale miniatures of houses, rooms, and furniture. Arabia Steamboat Museum
This cargo steamboat, laden with 220 tons of merchandise destined for settlers out west, sank in the Missouri River in 1856, where it remained preserved in cold mud until it was excavated in the 1980s. A virtual time capsule of the 1850s and one of the best collections of pre-Civil War artifacts in the world, the museum provides a fascinating look at frontier life, with displays of the steamboat's cargo, from china and hardware to jewelry and leather boots (900 shoes and boots alone are on display). Tours begin with a film of the excavation and restoration of parts of the boat (which are now on display); plan on 1 1/2 hours here.

It was nice for a place to lay my head

Super Wal-Mart

Very close to International House Of Prayer. So that was a plus. I was only a few minutes away. The Non-Smoking room did smell like smoke a little. The rooms were very clean and neat. It is a great place to rest your head at night. Not a whole lot other than that. So as far as that, I was happy with what I got. The staff was very nice. I would stay again.

Close to freeways

A Mexican restaurant right next door with excellent food & prices.

Easy on & off to main freeways. Best Western Kansas City, KS rooms are large, clean & quite. They didn't have extra pillows, but we could live with that. The hairdryer had a cut cord, so didn't work, but they did bring a working hairdryer to my room. Very pleasant & friendly staff all around. Will stay there again.

Great location

The location was great and the price was right. I was visiting IHOP in KC, thats the International House of Prayer. The location although close to IHOP was in a little rougher neighborhood than I would have liked. Not sure I would feel comfortable walking around at night here.
