Friendly Staff

Ths hotel is within five minuites from all the medical centers with easy off/on access from all freeways.

The motel staff was very understanding and eager to meet my every need. Being a single woman traveling alone and in a strange city, the staff was very concerned about my safety and security. I felt as if I was among family!!!

Thriving college downtown with many eclectic resturants

At check in it was difficult to understand the manager on duty due to accent. This particular la Quinta had no elevator. The staff was unfamiliar with any resturants on a scale higher than chain/ fast food type resturants.

Very friendly and well kept

The ckeck in was very well. The young man was very polite and courteous.. The room was spacious and well kept. The beds could be more comfortable but the fact is that in motels you can not get the best as in a persons home. I liked the fact that I had easy access to the interstate and culd find my way back very easy.

A bit close to lots of traffic

No restaurant in hotel and none very close sto walk to. Had to drive across a busy highway to get a meal. Did had a comp. continental breakfast,

La Quinta in Columbia was all right. The rooms were small and the hotel had no elevator for older people who did not climb stairs too well. The hotel is very close to the interstate and lots of traffic. Had no restaurant attached so had to get across highway to find a restaurant. Parking around the hotel and convenient. Chosen for a 1 night stay and also for economy

I thought I'd stayed at another LaQuinta in the past that I remembered being much nicer than this one. I can't say there was anything wrong with this one, but it was just so-so.
