Most recent user reviewsScore 5 out of 5 Great for the money Eric, Washington, DC, 2006-09-25 1. The Battlefield Mall is right across the street and is a nice place to go and hangout for a while between activities. 2. Battlefield and Glenstone are both lined with a ton of restaurants so you have lots of options. The Arbor Suites at The Mall room was a good value for what we paid and I was quite happy with the room layout. We had a full sized fridge and oven with an island counter seperating them from the living space. In the living space there was a comfortable couch with a coffee table and the TV was on a rolling stand so that you could watch it from either the couch or the bed which was nice. The tub and toilet were in one room with the vanity seperate and they were distanced from the sleeping area by a hall that had two closets with enough room to hang a week or two's worth of clothes. Overll, I was quite happy with the hotel and its location and I would gladly recommend it to frinends or family. Score 5 out of 5 Arbor Suites at the Mall Catherine, Wichita, KS, 2006-09-19 All kinds of eating and shoppong close by.Arbor Suites at the Mall was very comfortable, the rooms were nice sized. If you where going to stay a week this would be s great place as it had a kitchen in it. The staff was great to help with directors to my meeting place. They offered a continental breakfast and it hit the spot. If I was in the area again I would stay at the Arbor Suites. Score 3 out of 5 Review Alicia, Kansas City, MO, 2006-07-27 I didn't get a chance to go to the mall but it looked like they were remodeling the mall. The rooms are decent. Pool area very small, fitness center? Two machines are call a fitness center? It has a laundry room if you want to use which is great if you doing lots of travel and need to wash your clothes. A full kitchen which is nice. I think it's a good hotel to stay at. Score 4 out of 5 big rooms rodney, 2006-05-29 hammons field and the bass pro shop were both within close driving distancebog rooms for the price, the 2nd night we stayed there the police had to come to the courtyard to remove people that were not staying at the motel. motel was close to attractions we were visiting Score 5 out of 5 Great Value Anonymous, St Louis, MO, 2006-05-28 Battlefield Mall is just over a mile away.Arbor Suites at the Mall has the best value for the money in Springfield. Score 5 out of 5 My review of Arbor Suites at the Mall Anonymous, 2006-05-19 This hotel is in close proximity to a shopping mall as well as restaurants which was handy.I liked the hotel very much. It wasn't your standard strip of room after room. The layout was nice, it was almost like staying in individual cottages. I liked having a kitchen area, but was surprised that we had to use glasses from the kitchen to use in the bathroom - no glasses or cups in the bathroom for brushing teeth, etc. All in all though, it was a well kept hotel and only a block off of a main street, so less noise. We didn't see any other hotel staff except for the front desk clerks and they were nice and helpful too. Score 1 out of 5 Never Again - HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE LIsa, Kansas City, MO, 2005-09-05 Stay somewhere else. Our stay here was terrible. There was a LARGE dog swimming in the pool both days (even though it had been reported to the front desk a number of times). They ran out of breakfast early both days. Other hotel guests were drunk and yelling and fighting in courtyard area from 10 p.m. until 3:30 a.m. when we told the front desk we would call the police if they didn't. The grout around the tiles in the entry way of the room was broken and loose - my husband cut his foot on a jagged piece that had worked loose. The countertop in the kitchenette wasn't secured. My 5-year-old daughter leaned on it and it flipped up and landed on her legs as she sat on the bar stool. We tried complaining all weekend long but a manager was never available and we had already prepaid for the room. We were STUCK. . We will NEVER stay here again. Too bad - it used to be a really nice hotel when it was a Residence Inn. Score 4 out of 5 Arbor Suites Springfield Mo. donald, Chicago, IL, 2005-07-29 There was a slight mixup when we checked in, but that was taken care of very quickly by the staff. The room was a "penthouse" suite that was very spacious and nice for us. We have a 15 month old girl and the up stair loft work great for times when she had to go to sleep at night or when she would nap during the day. We could still watch movies or TV downstairs as she sleep, which is why we booked the "penthouse" suite. The inroom TV was a DVD/VHS all in one TV,so we could watch our oun DVD's with out having to pay extra. The pool was nice and small but there is not a lot of room around the pool to loung. Over all we enjoyed our stay and we would stay there again. Score 4 out of 5 Friendly Staff Jean, Appleton, WI, 2005-07-25 The Arbor Suites at the Mall in Springfield, MO turned out to be better than we had anticipated. When we arrived, check-in was very quick. Once in our room, we realized we wanted more space. A call to the front desk was all it took to arrange an upgrade to the penthouse suite. The new room was enormous. It was like being in an apartment rather than a hotel room. Our room had a sitting area with a couch and a chair, tv and fireplace. There was a fully stocked kitchen with a bar/counter that doubled as work space and an eating location. The refrigerator had an ice maker that was greatly appreciated! There was a dining table with seating for 4 in a large room that doubled as a bedroom with a murphy bed. There was a full bathroom just off of this area. That only highlights the downstairs!! The upper loft area had a king bed and tv. The full bathroom in the loft area had the sink and mirror area outside of the shower/toilet room. The only thing we had trouble with was a slight inconvenience when housekeeping packed all of our things believing we had left. Hotel management corrected the problem in a manner that more than met our expectations. We would definately stay in this hotel again! Score 5 out of 5 Great Suites Rudy, Orange County, CA, 2005-06-20 I was very pleased with how large the room was and all the perks that were available for a very good price. I would stay there again for sure. |
