If a resort is your kind of thing you will not be disappointed. Antique shops, lots of little diners, etc. This is a beautiful part of Minnesota and I recommend you go.The Ramada Inn in Brainerd was a nice hotel. We had a very nice time and would go again. We did not spend much time in our room, but it was nice after a long cold day to come back to a comfortable bed and warmth. We would recommend this hotel to friends and family. Score 5 out of 5 Great Customer Service Debra, Fort Lauderdale, FL, 2006-07-31 Christmas Point is a must stop shopping area about three miles away in Baxter on Hwy 371. They have endless great gifts, cooking items, and home decorations.From the moment we walked into the hotel we were treated with excellent customer service. Without us having to ask they moved us from second to first floor and gave some great directions to various places in town. The weekend that we were there it was very hot and the room was very cool. The pool was awesomely huge and a very comfortable temperature. They have the bowed out shower curtains which are just fabulous too.....they don't stick to you that way if you get too close. We ate the Sunday morning buffet breakfast at the attached restaurant and though the quality was good, they had run out of several items. We will stay at the Ramada again the next time we visit Brainerd. |
