Most recent user reviewsScore 4 out of 5 Needs maintenence Dorotha, 2006-10-11 Perkins Family Dining and Denny's restraurant as well as Arbys, and Godfather's Pizza and a Burger King are all right around the Best Western. Perkins is very nice, and there is a discount associated with staying at the Best Western for meals at Perkins.This is/was great hotel. However, it is in need of maintenence and some paint and some cleaning. Our room could have been much cleaner than it was and the entire hotel could be kept up better. I don't know what has happened in the past 2 years or so, but it needs some attention. The staff are always nice and very helpful. Everyday I had to go to front desk for coffee, cups and or towels as the correct number or none were left. The key cards for the room door and entrance doors continuously failed. This was especially an inconvience using the outside entrance near our room and the temp outside was 10 degrees and snowing. So for the five days there we had to have the key cards re-programed each day and still the outside entrance did not always function. Will not recommend this hotel to anyone nor would I stay at a Best Western again. Score 5 out of 5 Good location janice, Detroit, MI, 2005-11-01 There is a very nice city park that is a short dirve. It is well worth the drive. It has a nice streem, ducks, and play area for the kids. Plus great walking paths.The hotel had a good location to where I need to be. The selection of breakfast was very good. The waffle maching was great. The pool and hot tub and suna were great as well. I would be glad to stay there again when I need to be in that area again!Thank-you |
