Howard Johnson Express Inn and Suites Grand Rapids has easy on/off I-96, Exit 43B. We are just 4 miles from Gerald R. Ford International Airport. We are close to shopping, entertainment and the financial district. The Gerald R. Ford Museum and Fredrik Mever Botanical Gardens are nearby. Several restaurants in the area as well as a restaurant adjacent to us. All rooms are 2-room suites. We have Free High Speed Internet Access, free local calls, 2 TV's with Cable TV with Showtime, coffeemakers, hairdyrers, iron and ironing board, microwave/refrigerator and wet bar in all rooms. Shuttle is available. We have a Meeting Room. Pets Allowed For a $50.00 Fee. Free Deluxe Continental Breakfast.

The international airport is readily accessible and easy to find.I was very pleasantly surprised by the accommondations of the room when I opened my door at the Grand Rapids, MI. Howard Johnson Express Inns and Suites. They were very spacious, adequately egipted for my needs and without any obvious signs of wear to the furniture. I liked having the second sink in the kichenette which was readily accessible from all areas of the suite as well as having a closable door to the nice-sized closet. Though I had no disturbances by any noise coming through the adjoining walls or ceiling, the door into the common hotel hallway did let quite a bit of noise into the living room area. The front desk staff was very friendly and inquired concerning my wellfare and comfort. No traffic and plenty of "green" scenery to enjoy.This hotel offers two room suites at affordable prices which make it ideal for the business traveler seeking an "office" while on the road. I will certainly seek out other Howard Johnson motels in my travels.
