The continental breakfast was delicious and clean! This was a very pleasant Days Inn to stay at. I recommend it highly. The attraction were a couple miles away, but not too far. A lot of places to eat were right around the mall! Score 4 out of 5 Pet Friendly Anonymous, 2006-05-21 the hotel is in walking distance of several restaurants(both sit-down with service or fast food), night club/bar lounge and shopping was just a short car trip down the street.We were very pleased that we could take our dog with us and that the Days Inn Battle Creek was pet friendly. The hotel did not have any other ammenities, pool or fitness room, it was convienent to restaurants and the locations we needed to go to with easy access to the expressway. The cleanliness of the room would be the main draw back that would keep us from refering friends and family to stay there. There were many cob-webs on the light fixtures and in the corners and the toilet needed to be cleaned, there was a mildew ring around the inside of the toilet bowl. Not to say that this wasn't a nice hotel, but it is pretty basic. If you need a place to stop and sleep, and not much else, this a good choice. Easy access to the expressway and shopping area. Score 2 out of 5 Needs a little work Anonymous, Chicago, IL, 2005-12-09 The Denny's across the road has a great breakfast for $5.99 and this place is right off I-94.The Battle Creek Days Inn is an older facility that could use a little work. Being December in MI, it was cold and snowing. The heater in the room had 2 settings, off and full blast. The other down side was the TV reception was very poor. When I mentioned it to the manager at check out, he said it was because the snow blocked the satellite. The TV reception was bad before the snow even started. This place was cheap, so I guess you get what you pay for. |
